You can do this by making changes in the Navigation Quick Key Manager. Unfortunately, there is not as much flexibility there as I would like. You can only use letters and numbers, and there isn’t a lot of wiggle room because most are already used.
I’ll explain my personal setup. Obviously, this works for me, may not work for you.
I seldom use the P key to navigate by paragraphs. I use even less the I key to navigate from list item to list item.
So I have assigned Place Marker to P, thereby freeing up the unassigned Any Link key to be assigned to K. though I may not need it, I assigned Paragraph to I.
Once you assign Any Link to some letter or number, you can use it like any other quick key, and it is very nice to have.

As John said, you can certainly leave it and I agree that for a while you should. But if you find you always use Jaws 2020 and there are no issues which make it necessary to fall back to Jaws 2019 you can certainly uninstall it. Here is what you do (I assume you have Windows 10): 1. Press Windows Key + X and press enter on “Apps and Features”, it’s the first item in the menu which comes up 2. Tab I think about 6 times until you get into the list of all the installed programs and apps on your computer 3. Arrow down to “Freedom Scientific Jaws 2019” and press enter to expand it, then tab once to “Uninstall” and press enter. 4. You may have to press Uninstall one more time, but eventually the Jaws 2019 installer starts and you can select to remove it, just make very sure you don’t and I mean “do not” check to remove shared components because if you do Jaws 2020 will also no longer work. You can, if you want, remove the user files by checking that option. 5. Let the uninstallation finish and reboot, there is a good chance Jaws 2020 won’t speak at the logon screen or even after you enter your password, if that is the case just load Jaws 2020 manually, then go into Jaws Options > Basics, tab twice to “Automatically Start Jaws” and make sure the option for Jaws to speak at the logon screen is checked and that it is set to “Always” for speaking after the desktop loads. That’s it.

Thanks Brian for the confirmation😊 So now I have downloaded the online version of JAWS 2020 and installed it on my system and I was expecting it to prompt for authorization however I think it automatically picked it up. So far…. It seems to run smoothly. And I have two versions now –both 2019 and 2020. I am not sure if I should uninstall 2019 as for some reason I never had a smooth uninstallation of JAWS as whenever I try to uninstall it, it always leaves it’s components and then when I try to install the JAWS, it doesn’t get properly installed like doesn’t give the usual audio feedback etc. So may be I leave both of these…I hope that wouldn’t be a problem?? I sometimes catch CBC TV programs via the CBC website. A few days ago their system seemed to change and I could not get to the program I wanted. When I phoned the CBC, I was told I need to get to a looking glass near the log-in on their Gems page. I can't figure out the keystrokes I need and JAWS isn't getting me there. Any help would be appreciated.
Normmaly I'd type cbc.ca/coronation, for instance, if I want Coronation Street, then on the next page press H to get to the full episodes link. It's when I hit that link that I get to the relevant page but cannot find the specific spot I need. Don

admittedly was many, many, many moons ago. Why there's even a limit at this point I don't understand, but whatever... Especially for those of us who are multi-lingual and deal with foreign pronouns and all sorts of other words that don't require switching over to a different language or if we simply want the dictionary change to take affect across all applications and not just a specific one, you can fill those entries up fast.

JAWS looks at the Windows version you have and installs the correct version, I have a 64 bit version of Windows and JAWS installed into the Program file folder. If 32 bit it would install into the Program x86 folder.

All the entries have the same syntax; none use uncommon characters besides accent marks for foreign words. I know It can be frustrating when you encounter an issue which prevents you from doing things the way you are used to, I spend a lot of time, in fact, about 2 years corresponding with various people from Vispero before somebody said they would take this on because they felt it would be of use not just to me but also to many other people who use older software for work or their own business. One thing I found is that it always pays off to approach a company using a reasonable tone, laying out the problem and letting them know that you understand that they also are busy, have priorities and they may not get to your issue right away. I've always used a cordial and professional tone with every Vispero employee with whom I've interacted, since I know that only the development team can actually look into these issues. Still, my problem is not just about my inconvenience; it's about what we may need to know in the future when our dictionaries become ever larger. No one wants to part with thousands of entries that have taken years to assemble. So, if there are indeed corrupted portions of JDF files, we need to know how to spot and fix them. I understand that 32 bit programs can run on a 64 bit system but a 64 bit app cannot run on a 32 bit system...

As the name implies, it contains everything you could possibly need for an installation, all the OCR components, help files and so on and it is 832 MB which is very close to 1 Terabyte.
