Dear friend, the matter of fact is that I’m an extremely poor visually challenged person looking after my mom, my wife and my two children with very low income.

Ten USD means for me is RS1500 per month which I cannot afford because I’m earning just RS48000 per month which is very low income over here in Pakistan.

I have to pay RS10000 for house rent, RS10000 for my utilities, RS10000 per month for my children education related things.

In this regard please let me know how can I afford such a huge amount for that captcha solver?

I therefore would like to request you to please exempt me from your planne.

Hi all,

I use the latest version of jaws 2019 and version no. 2019.012.20035 of
acrobat reader dc. I face 2 issues while using jaws: (a) - in many pdfs, the
content appears like a large wall of text in Acrobat Reader and cannot be
perused in a para-wise form. You can only peruse it line by line or through
say all, both of which are inconvenient. (B): jaws sometimes loses focus,
especially when transitioning from one page to the other.

Have others faced any of these issues and found viable ways to read pdf
documents *as such* in an accessible way. Note: I am cognizant of solutions
like converting them into word, using the OCR feature and viewing them as
html documents. What I would like the answer to, however, is the narrow
question of whether there exists an accessible way to navigate searchable
pdf documents in para-wise form without adopting these roundabout
solutions.

Best,
Rahul

Mike B

Hi All,

below is the direct download link for today's JAWS2019.1907.31 August 2019 update and what's new for this release.

32 & 64 Bit Download Link:

What's new:

Enhancements in JAWS 2019.1907.31 (August 2019)

The following is a list of improvements made in JAWS 2019 between the June 2019 update and the August 2019 update.
list of 14 items
• This update fixes an issue encountered by some users where JAWS was not reading as expected in the Windows 10 Start menu. If you are experiencing this
problem, open JAWS Settings Center, press CTRL+SHIFT+D to load the Default File, type "start" into the search edit box, and then toggle the control called:
"Start menu: Access-Out-of-Process" so that it is checked.
• In response to customer feedback, JAWS sounds such as when INSERT+SPACEBAR is pressed to enter Layered Keys mode are no longer muted when Speech On Demand
is active.
• Addressed an issue where the Text Analyzer keystrokes were not being found when using the JAWS Commands Search feature (INSERT+SPACEBAR, J).
• When creating meeting requests using the Outlook calendar, resolved an issue where new attendee information was not being reliably indicated in either
speech or braille.
• Resolved a reported issue where the keystrokes to read message headers in Outlook, ALT+1 through 4 on the number row, were not working in Windows 7.
• Resolved an issue where returning to an open Outlook email after exiting a Word Document would result in your cursor landing at the top of the email
rather than the previous location where you were reading.
• Resolved an issue in Microsoft Office where JAWS was not reporting if an endnote or footnote had been inserted with speech even though Braille was correctly
identifying the information.
• Addressed an issue in Word 2016 reported by SSA where JAWS would repeat the last line of the document after completing a Say All (INSERT+DOWN ARROW).
• Addressed a reported issue where the spelling buzzer to indicate a misspelled word was still being heard even when the "Detect spelling while typing"
option in setting Center was disabled.
• In Microsoft Teams, resolved an issue where JAWS was speaking incoming message and call notifications multiple times.
• When navigating by character in secure password fields in Chrome and Firefox, resolved an issue where JAWS was saying "star" multiple times for each
character.
• Addressed a reported issue in Chrome where typing in contracted Braille was not working as expected.
• Resolved a customer reported issue with SQL Server Management Studio where JAWS was not properly navigating and reading a results Data grid.
• Resolved an issue reported by international Braille users where incorrect Unicode characters were being entered using computer braille under certain
circumstances.
list end

Take care.  Mike.  Sent from my iBarstool.  Go dodgers!
I believe that everything happens for a reason. Usually, the reason is that somebody screwed up.

Sorry, didn’t see your second message.

Preferences is in the Edit menu, it is the last item so if you press Alt + E and then up arrow once you’ll be there or you can use Control + K which is the keyboard shortcut for Preferences.

Hi Marvin,

There is a security setting in Adobe Reader that you need to disable. Go to Adobe preferences by pressing CTRL + K. In the list of preferences, look for "Security, (enhanced)". Tab to where it says "enable enhanced Security" and uncheck it. You can use first letter navigation in this list, so press "S" till you get to "Security (Enhanced). Try that and if it doesn't work, there is also a setting to "Enable protected mode at startup" in the Security (Enhanced) preference. Try unchecking this as well. I can't recall if both settings need to be unchecked , and I am on my Mac at the moment so can't check.

Hope this helps

Hi, Marvin.

1. Open Adobe Reader.

2. Press ALT plus K for Preferences.

3. Arrow down to Security (Enhanced, (not just Security)

4. TAB to Enable Protected Mode at startup, and make sure it is unchecked.

5. Answer “Yes” to the prompt which warns you that, Disabling Protected Mode requires you to restart Adobe Reader.

6. TAB to, Enable Enhanced Security, and make sure this is also unchecked.

7. TAB to the OK button, and press it.

8. Restart Adobe Reader.

Now you should be able to see the content of PDF files in Adobe Reader.

Subject: adobe acrobat reader dc and jaws issues

I thought I would try adobe acrobat reader dc, latest version. My adobe acrobat pro English is a few years old, version 5.5., but when I try to load a pdf, and then select that and load, it goes into like a web based or cloud, and jaws just sees it as blank. If I try to do a insert o, d for document, says ocr failed. So not sure why. Why is that, and not reading it that great and do have the google chrome extension. Maybe ray, can help. This is weird.

Anyone had this issue with adobe acrobat reader dc, current free version and got it from the official adobe site.

Marvin.

To be perfectly honest, the only RSS reader I have ever found to be fully accessible with JAWS is the one built into IE 11.?? I use Chrome as my default browser, but now useIE mostly as an RSS feed reader.

I'm not certain this will work, but try pressing insert+f to have JAWS
announce the attributes. does it report that there is a border?

if you use NVDA, I don't know if there is a way.

Hello, group.
I was wondering is there a way to tell if a border is on my word
document. I went through all the steps to put a border on my first
page, but there is nothing there telling me whether my settings took
or not. Thanks for your help.

I sincerely hope that my request will be considered with humanitarian manner.

Hi!

Sending this since many people have emailed me regarding captcha solver, sorry to say, but right now because of an increasing amount of people who exploit it, I have to charge 10 USD dollars/month to sustain the service and get rid of the people who use it for wrong purposes.

Sad it had to get to this point, if you're still interested please reply and I'll set up everything, payments go through a reputable provider like PayPal or similar. Email is: oliver.edholm@...
