Links won't open in outlook 2003

Omar Binno <omarbinno@...>

Hello,

I'm using Outlook 2003 to check my emails. For some reason, when I click on
a link that someone sends me, or a link that I cut and paste for someone
else, it won't open. I get no error messages either. The link just doesn't
open. Is there something in outlook that I need to change? If I get an email
from ebay or facebook, for example, with links present in them, I can click
on those links with no problem. Any help would greatly be appreciated.

So if you hav more then one account you would see them their.
Now tab to account settings press enter.
Here you need to press enter again on,
Account settings....

Now tab to change press enter.
Here you can change the name,

Hope this helps.

Yes, it would be nice if we could have something that either randomly or
systematically changed the "handle" by some stimulus or chronology.

But then of course all the spammers would use it to auto generate weird
names for their mail -- Egads! They already do that, don't they?

Kimsan,

Unfortunately it's not automatic. I just do it once in a while to amuse
myself.

I use Windows Mail, and go to tools/accounts.
Then I edit the preferences on the E-Mail account I'm using (in my case it's
the default) Then in the first page "General" the first tab drops me into an
edit field called Name:
I just edit that field, press Enter, and then tab out to the close button.

A bit of fussing, but not so much that I let it spoil my fun.

Hi all,

Just wondering how I get full screen player back in iTunes using jaws?

I managed to turn it off, leaving me with the mini player, but I can't get
it back now.

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling jaws, but when I did this, I got
the same mini player.

I tried restoring to an earlier time before I turned the full screen player
off, then starting iTunes again, there was an error, so I repaired it.

Still the mini player.

Also, I can't get it to download purchases that I have already bought onto
the laptop, even after I have authorised it with ITunes.

I'm running Jaws 10, can go up to jaws 12, iTunes 10 and windows vista 32
bit.

Thanks in advance for any info anyone can provide.

Donna,

Thanks for your prompt response. I received essentially the same answer from
Freedom Scientific when I asked them about Expression Web & JAWS. I realize
that they can't certify JAWS for every software package out there, but since
Microsoft's now discontinued FrontPage was supported by JAWS, you would
think FS would have taken the trouble to certify its replacement, Expression
Web, as well. I would be very interested in what you find out. Thanks again.

As a side note, in my emails to Freedom Scientific concerning this matter,
they stated that the only web creation/management software that works "out
of the box" with JAWS is Adobe's DreamWeaver package. (They claimed that's
what their web developers use.) I downloaded a trial of the latest
DreamWeaver release, and it does seem to work all right with JAWS. It is
very complex though, and does not have the user friendly interface of MS
FrontPage (and I presume Expression Web), especially for people with little
or no vision to compensate for what JAWS can't read. The Adobe program seems
aimed at the web writing professional rather than someone who simply wants
to make a web page or site but doesn't necessarily want to get deeply
immersed in all the intricacies of HTML and more advanced web languages.
That's my two cents worth, anyway.

Cordially,

Hi C.E.
No I haven't had any answers yet. I am going to try and download the
program and play with JAWS to see if it works. I did get the
following email from Freedom Scientific regarding the issue:

Thank you for contacting Freedom Scientific technical Support. The
JAWS(r) screen reading software has no direct support for this
application. This does not mean that it does not work in the
application, it will just depend on if the software was designed with
accessibility in mind. I recommend visiting the user groups and see if
a user here has experience with this software or if any third party
scripts may be available for the
JAWS(r) screen reading software and the Microsoft Expressions Web and
Design application.

Re: jaws 13 itunes and playlists

Chris Smart <csmart8@...>

are you using the BlindTunes scripts? If not, I suggest you grab them ASAP. They're free, they're excellent, and they come with some guides on how to use them.
www.blindtunes.net

Anyway, the process generally goes like this:
1. create new playlist.
2. find things in your library and
3. copy them to the new playlist.
4. make sure the playlist is set to be synched up with your iPod.

Hello, everyone.

I am working with Outlook 2010 here, and would like to turn off
auto-bulleting and auto-numbering in the auto format property sheet under
the proofing category in the editor's options window.
However, I can't find the property sheet, and my sighted wife says that the
property sheet and all of the options associated with it are grayed
out--meaning you can't do anything with them.

Am I doing something wrong here?

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Dave...

Gery,

Here's what I do:

First know that I'm using the blindTunes scripts, so the interface is a lot
easier to navigate.

In the source list there is one called playlist.
Highlight.
Then file menu and select new playlist, and give it a name.
Now highlight that playlist.
Now F6 and you should drop into an empty list.

On my hard drive I select the tunes I want in the playlist. I usually try to
have all these in a single place, already gathered from various sources.
Copy all these files.

Paste them into that blank list.
After a while your playlist will know where to grab these files.

Back to the source list.
Highlight your iPod or iPhone.
Tab until you get to a music checkbox, and check it.
Keep tabbing and select a checkbox or radio button that says "sync only
selected songs"
.
Tab more until you get to a list that shows your playlist and check.
Tab more until you get to either an "apply" button or a "Sync" button and
press the spacebar.

Wait until you hear a sound to announce completion.

Again go to the source list, and highlight your iPod or iPhone.
Shift+F10 to open the context menu and select eject.
If the sync is complete, the highlight moves off your device and you can
disconnect.

Now, wasn't that easy?

I'm sure it's a lot more automatic on a Mac, but we get what we get.

States, using a Dell Latitude E6520 and Windows 7
