That's a good one. Also try www.scroogle.org. Both of these don't track your searches.

A table navigation question

Dondi

Hi Everyone,

When I'm navigating a table on a web page I use the key combination of
control+alt with the arrow keys to get around. Is there a way to navigate
around in a table without holding down the key combination of control+alt?

Re: having trouble not finding drop down menus

Dean Martineau <dean@...>

This strikes me as a time when some training is needed. Various people,
include yours truly, provide training for a reasonable fee. You could
explore the learning resources on the FS web site, including Surf´s Up and
the webinars, which are either free or not very expensive.

I say this because for JAWS users, which side of the screen a thing is to be
found is irrelevant. If you hit a c, while on the site, what happens_
that keystroke will take you to any combo boxes or list boxes, generally
known as drop'downs, on the page.

Subject: Adding links on blogger.com

Hi all firstly I use windows 7 ultimate, internet explorer 9 and jaws
13. I'm trying to insert links in my posts on blogger.com.
The way to do this is to highlight the text you want to turn in to the
link and then to click on the link button and type the URL. With jaws I
highlight the text with shift + arrows, then I arrow up to where the
link button is, I then route jaws to pc with jaws key + numpad -, then
left click with numpad /. I then enter the URL and test the link, after
I see that it works I press ok. It enters the link but the problem is it
enters the link in the first line of the post no matter where the
highlighted text was. In the help files it also says you can highlight
the text then press control + shift plus A to enter the box where you
enter the links URL but this doesn't seem to work. If there's no way to
do this with jaws the last resort would be to manually enter the link
each time but this would be a huge mission so if someone can help please
do.

Nickus

Hi I'm upgrading from Jaws 11 to 13, but when I run the activation wizard

successful, then when I exit that another box comes up saying my
authorisation code was for an older version. I've checked my serial number
and everything is correct, so I'm not sure what else could be going wrong.
Has anyone else had this problem? Thanks from Lori.

Re: [Bulk] Problems upgrading Jaws

Dave...

Happened to me, also but when I was upgrading from 11 to 12. I had to first
activate my 11 and then install 12. Then all was fine.

Even though my version 11 never complained, it was not correctly activated
(apparently).

Give that a try since you have keys remaining. You'll only need to burn one
key to activate version 11 and then version 13 will install without any
complaint.

Hello there;

First,
Have you checked on;

www.fsactivate to make sure you have sufficient keys available,
next,
what operating system are you using?
If it's windows 7, perhaps the UAC, "user account control"
Is preventing the activation.
I've had this problem with a couple of my clients.

When you write on somebody else's wall, you are also sharing the information
to the other person and anyone else who can see your wall posts. This is why
should the link be of a private matter you should use the messages feature
and post the link to the other person privately.
