I found what the problem is.... In Office XP and Jaws 13 those reading options are not available. I installed Jaws 13 on my Laptop running Windows 7 and Office 2010 and they appear just as you said. I'm sorry, I should have mentioned that I have Windows XP and Office XP on my desk top computer. Thanks again. Tracy

Indeed, try hitting insert+s. this is the screen echo setting. You want it

to say "highlighted." My hunch is that you have accidentally set it to "all." Dean

Did you have your spreadsheet open when you pressed Insert v? You should hear JFW speak Quick Settings Excel. Typing title reading into the search box gave me 6 choices, with title reading at the top. I also tried typing just the word title into the box, and it gave me more choices, which included title reading. If you have done all of the steps as outlined, I don't know what the problem could be. Re: Deleting Temporary Place Markers
Gerald Levy
You're right. You can only create one temporary place marker on a web page. I discovered that pressing Control-K on a new location deletes the old temporary marker and places one at the new location. The other place markers on the page must have been permanent place markers which I was able to display in the list box with the Control-Shift-K command and then remove them.

I don't believe there is any way to delete a temporary place marker. When you want a different one, just create it with control plus K. The old (most recent) place marker should be deleted automatically. Permanent place markers, of course, are a different matter, and they can be deleted through the control plus shift plus K dialog.
