The problem is that I have several thousands of mails that I wish to
ddelete. Now the steps told by Samara only deletes 20 conversations
(at the most 100 mails). How do I delete huge numbers? Thank you

19. Press the letter B until you hear: Delete It Button. Press the space
bar.

20. When the page loads, you will hear JAWS say: Your filter has been
deleted.

21. Be sure to do steps 14 through 18, or all of your e-mail will continue
to be deleted and sent to the trash.

Can’t tell if registry items are checked in CCleaner with Jaws

CCleaner registry cleaner recent versions, Win XP 32 and Win 7 64. Jaws 11 and 13..

Can’t tell if items in the result list are checked. Jaws always says they are checked even when they are not. Jaws cursor shows graphics labeled corner and checked. Not indicated when moving through the list. Spacebar changes state but Jaws doesn’t indicate. Always says checked Tried setting graphics from labeled to all. Still need to use Jaws cursor to find out if something is checked or not.

I didn’t try everything but doubt the others would help.

How do I conclude the state which is clearly shown as a graphic with the Jaws cursor to be indicated with using regular navigation. Spacebar changes state but Jaws always says an item is checked when navigating to it in the list. Customize list view didn’t help either.

Windows 7 654, Jaws 13.

After release of Jaws 13, for many days things were good. However, thereafter suddenly the activation manager started coming when Jaws was started.

When issue was brought to the notice of freedomscientific technical support, we came to know that my Jaws is getting converted to home edition instead of professional edition again and again. After conversations with support team, I was given an authorization file (.dath) to update my dongle again. For few days it worked well, but again the problem persisted.
Despite letting the support know this fact, the only solution which is given to me so far is to use the update file whenever any such issue occurs.
And to sum it up we haven’t able to crack the problem.
My problem is that I have my law semester exams from 22nd November, and I can’t take any risk. As I am the first student of Mumbai University who has been allowed to use computer for his exams, I have to produce the results to the best of my capacity in order to insure that such facility can be extended to all blind students of our university and in other universities of the country.
And since I have the dongle, so if it fails during exams, I would even not be able to use it on an alternative system. My dealer however has come to a conclusion that it is my system problem, so the last option is to format my system. However my system is completely clean, no problems whatsoever with any other program exists so far. What my dealer’s reasoning is that since it is only happening with you, that is why FS has not worked on it in order to get it fixed for every version. He has assured me to look into my problem though.
Contrary to this, FS has been mentioning in the enhancements about authorization and upgrade problems.
I shall be highly obliged if one can provide me any solution of this problem at the earliest possible.

Landmarks are an html feature, and JFW has the ability to recognize and
allow navigation among them. The quick access key to jump to the next
landmark is the semicolon, with the colon taking you to the previous one.
If well implemented, they can make page navigation quite efficient.

Status Bar, Command Bar, and Menu Bar

The Status Bar gives useful information, such as the percentage of the page as it loads. It is turned off by default in IE9. To enable the status bar do
the following:

1. Press ALT+V to open the View menu.
2. Press T to open the Toolbars submenu.
3. Press DOWN ARROW to find Status Bar. If it is checked, just press ESC a couple of times to get out of the menus. If it is not checked, press ENTER to
check it. The menus close and the status bar is now visible at the bottom of the screen. To read the status bar with JAWS or MAGic, press INSERT+PGDN.

No no! please don't use jaws with IE 9, because it doesn't announce progress
bar, even if you check the status bar from the view menu.

If you're on the the Gmail site itself while in standard view, there is a
select all option that will either delete the email messages you have on the
screen at one time or all the messages in the inbox. I have my Gmail account
set to 100 messages at a time. It's tricky getting to and selecting the
select all option though. You have to get into a funky combo box/listview
and use the Jaws cursor a bit. Also, I've never been able to delete all my
emails at one time, but rather only page by page. My sighted wife lends me a
hand when I want to select and delete all the emails in the inbox rather
than page by page. I don't remember the steps off hand for getting to the
select all option, but it's not terribly hard if you want to try it yourself
or perhaps someone else can provide the step by step instructions.

If you're using Outlook, there's a checkbox option in the email
configuration settings that you can check and it will delete the emails from
the server when you delete them from your Outlook inbox. I'm using Outlook
2003, so I can't speak as to where it may be located in other versions on
the email client.
