Dan,

"try to make it work"...Are you also able to use ITunes 10.4 with Windows 7?
If so, with or without the BlindTunes scripts?

Hi,

I uninstalled 10.4 and installed 10.3 along with the scrips that was sent to
me. Here's the message I get.

iTunes

The file "iTunes Library.itl" cannot be read because it was created by

a newer version of iTunes.

OK

What does that mean and what should I do?

Thanks.

Re: [Bulk] ITunes again

Dave...

Kimsan,

Stick with 10.3 and just delete the library file from your My Documents
folder. Mine was in the "My Music" subfolder.

ITunes will just create a new library file when you next launch it.

Loreal and Nickus are successful in using 10.4 on their systems with or
without the scripts, but most of the beta testers have had serious problems
with 10.4 and the latest scripts on Windows 7 in particular. That's why I'm
steering you away from that for now. Like me, you want to use ITunes, and
not test new script code.

Does this work ok with Jaws 12 (latest update)? As far as everyone knows.
I wondered if I might sort out some of my jaws issues if I tried
something
other than IE as my browser. I know firefox 6 has come out today and I
wasn't sure to get that or not because of it being the latest version I
didn't know how stable that would be with jaws either.
Any thoughts on Chrome or Firefox 6 would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Lol, how come that always happens to me? Lol. What I mean is I post the
question then I find the answer.
I followed these instructions and they worked. To display or remove the
Developer tab, click the Office button > Word Options . In Word 2007, the
"switch" was in the Popular section, but in Word 2010
you need to click on Customize Ribbon (read more on
customizing the ribbon).

show-developer-tab-in-word-2010

Ensure that the box next to Developer is checked. As soon as you click OK,
the Developer tab will magically appear (there is no need to close and
restart.
Sorry yall for the email.

4. In the categories pane, click Customize Ribbon.

5. In the list of main tabs, select Developer.

6. Click OK to close the Options dialog box.

I followed the instructions down to the t and the developer ribbon is not

I would suggest installing 10.4 again and first trying it without

thing it does is gives you extra key strokes to remember.

Hi I have been using itunes for about a year now without any scripts,
can't see a reason for needing scripts. Think I started with 10.1 and
now I have the latest 10.4, I first had jaws 11 and now jaws 12 on
windows 7 and without scripts I would say it's about 95% accessible.
Don't uninstall it first try it without the scripts. This is the first
time I'm hearing about any scripts but I'll give them a try just for
the heck of it but if they make no difference though I can't think
what more I would want, I'll remove them again and continue as I
currently do. If you're wondering what I'm able to do without any
scripts just as it is, well basically everything. Normal play, pause,
stop, forward, back, navigating through music, video, podcasts, audio
books, editing names and info, Creating and edditing playlists,
burning audio and mp3 discs, importing cd's and other media, syncing
ipods, iphones and ipads and navigating all menues and settings.
Itunes reads everything and you can navigate everyware with arrows tab
and F6 keys.

I followed these instructions and they worked. To display or remove the
Developer tab, click the Office button > Word Options . In Word 2007, the
"switch" was in the Popular section, but in Word 2010
you need to click on Customize Ribbon (read more on
customizing the ribbon).

Ensure that the box next to Developer is checked. As soon as you click OK,
the Developer tab will magically appear (there is no need to close and
restart.

Good afternoon,

I am trying to help someone with WLM. She has been reading her mail with
JAWS 12 but today although WLM shows the message list it doesn't read the
message when it is opened.

I noticed that when she opens WLM JAWS says something about outlook Express.
She tells me she had programs from her old computer transferred to her new
window seven, but that was some time ago.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

Re: [Bulk] ITunes

Dave...

Well,

the 12.0.1170 is supposed to improve access to ITunes, not cripple it. But
I've learned not to be surprised with reality when it comes to JAWS updates.

Sadly not, I only got update on Monday and I haven't been on iTunes since.
Hence my finger crossing, lol.

Yes, very latest JAWS 12 patch (12.0.1170) purports to have fixed some
issues with ITunes. Perhaps that's the reason for your success?

2. jTunes, not free, works with iTunes 10.2 and earlier:
