JAWS reads out the textbox along with the button?
Desai, Ishita (GE Healthcare) <Ishita.Desai@...>
Hi,
In my Visual Basic 6.0 application, there is a button and a read-only text box on the right side of the button.. E.g. <button> <Text Box> When the focus is on the text box, JAWS reads out "<button Caption> read only edit <text box contents> Is there a way that only the text box content would be read out? The button should be read out when it recieves the focus. Any help would be appreciated... Thanks, Ishita -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... ITunes&Jaws: Remembering last position button not reading right
Gerardo Corripio <gera1027@...>
HI guys: Using Jaws12 with ITunes 10.2 and BlindTunes; especially in
audiobooks I like to set the Remember last Position button to checked so when I resume the book I won't have to fast forward on my Ipod (or in ITunes depending where I'm listening) to get where I was. Because I haven't tried it before installing BlindTunes that's why I'm asking do you guys find that with Jaws12 and BlindTunes the Remember Position button doesn't get read, having to use the Jaws cursor to click it on or off? Also more weird why when the audiobook is in Music the remember position button works OK, but when I move the file to Audiobook it stops working, making an error sound in ITunes like I pressed an invalid command. Any ideas? Has this also happened to you guys since iTunes 10, or does it have nothing to do with the new ITunes, being something else? Gary King
Howard,

iTunes was just examining the folders on your drive so that it could list your music in its library. It wasn't moving anything. I don't know any way to get the process started again. You can import individual folders using options on the Files Menu. You may benefit from listening to 3 podcasts from Freedom Scientific. Go to the web site and look for the FSCast link. If you read through the list of podcasts, you will find that FSCasts 49 and 50 are concerned with using iTunes with JFW, and FsCast 59 is an interview with John Martin, the author of the Blind Tunes scripts. As for the Blind Tunes scripts, Insert+q should give the version number of the scripts. Maybe you have a bad installation. There is a form for contacting John Martin on the page where you got the scripts. Also, John may be monitoring the list and can come to your rescue. Gary King w4wkz@bellsouth.net

No, that's what I'm saying iTunes doesn't do anything with this CD. All the rest of the CD's I have put in that are store bought iTunes went and asked something like do I want to add this CD to the library. And then I got around to looking at iTunes and I never found an option to make iTunes to go and access the CD player. Dondi
