Re: More adobe and PDF problems

If the document is not already tagged for accessibility (you get the
wizard dialog before being able to read it) have you tried using the
process visible pages only option? I know that's not nearly as
convenient as doing it all up front but there are some documents where
I've found that it's all but required.

And if that doesn't work, try the save as->Text menu option and then
read the converted file rather than the PDF, if the document
formatting isn't critical to what you are doing.

reader saying out of memory. Do you have any suggestions how I can fix
this? I don't know if it's maybe a problem with this spesific document
because in the past I've read much larger documents well over 600
pages without any problems, it could also be jaws 13 because I
recently updated and can't remember reading big documents since having
13. If I can't sort this out I'll just try another PDF reader but

NoteTab, as distinct from Notepad, has many powerful features, html editing,
strip html, a sort of macro language, much more.

NoteTab Lite is a great free text editor, but it is not pleasant to use with
JAWS. With JFW 12 and 13, as downloaded, JAWS attempts to echo the entire
document whenever a key is pressed. NoteTab is also shipped with a .jcf
file for better accessibility. When I replace the NoteTab.jcf file with
that one, whenever I press a key, JAWS announces "edit." I've done a bit of
Google searching on this topic, and nobody seemed to find a solution for
either problem.

Suggestions, anybody?

Unfortunate. Suggest then you try Googling things like "calendar program"
"windows" and try out a few to see how they do. Some may even be free.

Tracy,

F6 in Word routes between the document window, the status bar, and the menu
ribbon. Press until you hear something like print view or normal view. Use
the right/left arrows here to highlight the button of your choice and press
spacebar. F6 back to the document.

Hi Tracy,

What operating system & version of Word are you running? I am running XP
&
Word 2002. If I press Alt + V, while in Word, Normal is the first 1 in
the
list when the view menu opens. Press enter on normal to check it & close
the menu. Take care.

looking at next month, though. I currently do not have ITunes on the

At this point I would suggest you try getting a seeing eye human to

You need to give more info,

what happens when you hit enter when the attachment button is focused?
(I get a dialog).

Also, note that if you are in a corporate environment it is possible
that your admins have simply disabled being able to use attachments.

Open the message, then hit shift enter and you will hear something
like "<attachment name> <attachment size> button"

Hit enter and you will be asked if you want to open the attachment.
Unfortunately with WLM I am not aware of any way to simply save
attachments directly to files which is what I want to do far more
often than simply open it. To save an arbitrary attachment you end up
having to add a file association if there isn't one and then save the
file.
