Hi, I like the built in Speech Dictation in Windows 10. Like the Word “Dictate” add in it is just a basic program but responds well and is pretty accurate.

If it does work what do we have to do to make it so? Also a question of a headset mic vs tabletop. My client doesn’t care for headsets, but if a must have, a recommendation for a reasonably priced one.

The best combination, allowing for power and accuracy, is Dragon 15.3, JAWS and J-Dictate from Hartgen Consultancy. Without J-Dictate, you don’t have good access to the correction procedures and to the echoing of dictating text.

I use control and the delete key, this will delete all the messages in that thread. After using this command make sure the screen has updated, cursor arrow down and up again.

Or, couldn’t you also use the Alt+H keystroke to get to the chat function? I’ve tried this. When the box has opened I have tabbed to the list, but when I get to the list this way JAWS won’t read it.

I have not seen an option in Outlook rules to do what you want. Microsoft Accessibility might have an idea. Here is an idea that I think could help you. If you have your inbox sorted so that that newest is on top, you can move to the first message by a given person, Then, hit the application key while you are still in the inbox. Hit F to jump to the “Find related” menu option. A submenu will open and the first option, on which you’ll already have focus, is called messages in this conversation. It will display all the related messages with the same subject line and you can delete the older ones and/or read just the top message you need. You may need to use F6 or Control Tab to bring focus to the list of messages.
I have never used the cleanup conversation option, so I don’t know the ins and outs of that feature.

It depends on what you want to do, but general meeting access with Zoom is actually quite easy. If you are sent a meeting link, it's easy to join a meeting and participate. You first have to download and install the Zoom app. A list of most-used Zoom key strokes can be obtained via Alt H--the help menu. I hope this helps at least a little. Tom Behler

Then consider creating a manually run rule that looks for messages with subject containing what you need to get rid of that are older than today, and kicking that off as needed.
You might be able to do that same thing with a rule for when something is received with the subject you want to nuke, but it would also require custom VBA scripting to avoid nuking the message you just received based upon what I can find in the Rules Wizard. My first suggestion to you is that you update your JAWS version to 2020. Freedom Scientific is offering a discount to upgrade for the price that cannot be beat. The scripts were written by Brian Hartgen and given to Freedom Scientific. If you are wanting more functionality you might want to purchase a set of more advance scripts from Brian Hartgen. To find out more about Brian's scripts for purchase go to: https://hartgen.org/ There are two books that are available to help you learn about all the things you can do along with the keyboard commands. The first is "Meet Me In The Cloud". This books is an audio book in MP3 files, available free from https://mosen.org/ and is a bit old but still will help. The author is Jonathan Mosen. The second book is available either from the Carol Center for the Blind and I don't remember the title of this book at the moment. I think you can also get this book from National Braille Press at https://nbp.org/ This book was priced at $18.00 for an MS Word file. Lastly, you can also find some keyboard commands on the Zoom website. Downloading Zoom is Free if you are just joining a group conference. If you are intending to host a group conference the free version will give you 40 minutes access. Hello, after using a personal meeting ID they're always using the same link. If you schedule them under separate meeting nights which the system creates for you then no. And those links are available as long as you want them for. If you're using a meeting ID that you let the system create for you. And if you want them to convene with the same link, just scheduled a meeting for three hours.
