text size in WLM

Crystal French

Hi,
I have read through the WLM guide with Jaws.

I could not find any informatiion on chaning the default font size in WLM.

I have been told that my messages have very small text.

I have tried finding a way to correct this.

I used the auto graphics labeller to see if that would make more selections available to Jaws, but no luck.

If someone has an answer please let me know.

Also, I am still having a lot of difficulty with this program, and wonder if there is another email list that might be albe to provide some help.

Did Microsoft turn a pack of squirrels loose to design this program?

I neglected to state that I am referring to adding and deleting songs to a

Hi: Can someone tell me how to add songs to the play list in Windows 7 64
bit with Jaws 13? I try to copy and paste but nothing happens.
Along the same line, how do I remove songs from a play list?
Thanks.

All the more reason to install NVDA. At least that way, you will have a backup screen reader in case JAWS stops talking.

For those of us who have only one screen reader, sometimes we don't know if the program is only acting in an unpredictable or unexpected manner only with JAWS, because we only have JAWS, and we are not sighted, so we can't use screen feedback to tell whether there is something on the screen we could see or if it is a JAWS-specific problem.

Thank you.

Hi Shane,
If it is not related, I apologize. I am sometimes unsure if something is just a computer question, or, possibly, a JAWS question because JAWS isn't reading me something that I need to find.

Think about it this way.
Is what your asking specific to JAWS, meaning, is JAWS not acting properly
in a specific circumstance? Or is it program specific, meaning no matter the
screen reader in use the program isn't behaving correctly.
I haven't yet seen your message about outlook, so I can't speak to it's

I'm asking not to be a wise ***, but because when I come up against a

Not sure, except that the jfw list signup page does have options for

Hi again Terrilyn,
You need to ad the word recent followed immediately by a colon to the
beginning of your username in the setup portion for that account in your
email program.
The first time you do this and then check for mail, you will get a lot of
your sent messages back from gMail but it will keep the mailbox from getting
too full as well.

Re: Outlook Express, grouping by conversation

Hi all,
I thought I had tried the option of just entering and it didn't work. But I must have misremembered. Anyway, it worked.

Thanks so much,

TerriLynne

Hi Terrilyn,
Try pressing enter on the option that you do want, instead of trying to
uncheck conversation view.

Jon

Subject: Outlook Express, grouping by conversation

Hi all,
My OE is currently set to group messages by conversation. Although there are
certain advantages to doing it this way, I find some aspects frustrating
enough to change it. But when I go to the view menu with alt+v and arrow
down to group messages by conversation, I find that I can't uncheck it. I
have tried spacebar, left click, right click, ... Any ideas? This is really
frustrating me. :)

I haven't had OE for a while, but one of two methods should work:

1. Press enter on "Group by conversation" while in the view menu. You will
be taken out of the view menu. To confirm that "Group by conversation" was
unchecked, go back into view menu. It's a shame that MS doesn't confirm that
a box like this is checked or unchecked without having to go in and out of
the menu.

2. If that fails, make another selection in the view menu.
