Delete Templates in MS Word

Kevin Hourigan <kevinthourigan@...>

Hello all,
I have a growing collection of templates in MS word, and can not figure out how to delete them using Jaws. I am using Jaws 14, Windows 7 64 bit, and Office 2010. Is there a handy dandy set of quick keys for this task? Thank you for all of your help.
Sincerely Kevin Hourigan.

JAWS and CD labeling

Mario

hi, I'd like to find out if anyone has a recommendation for a program used
to create labels for compact discs?
I'm wanting to make labels for backups and other things CDs are used for,
but want something that works with JAWS. I don't want fancy formats like
bending the text, pictures, etc. something simple like text for title,
description, etc.
most of the free programs I find via Google are not really accessible, and
I'm getting tired of installing and then uninstalling one I found that's not
really as advertised as "screen reader friendly". any suggestions?

the thing I can't seem to figure out and by the way Jonathan Mosen or
how ever you spell that name sorry, anyway, he did a fantastic job of
describing the focus 40 blue and its functions. I'm beginning to
assume that only with jaws can you read continuously not with the
iPhone. I say this because I cannot find any keyboard commands which
will allow you to just keep reading without using your panning or
rocker bars. thanks all for your help, i did learn things.

Me again. Sorry, Jim, there's a much easier way now. Facebook actually
got it right.

1. Bring up the person's Facebook profile.
2. Again, use the Control f function to bring up the Jaws Find Dialog.
3. Search for the word following
4. You should hit a "following" button if you're friends with that
person. Pressing space bar on that button should change it from
"following" to "follow".

That seems to do it. They don't seem to offer you choices of all, most,

Just wanted to know about this. If a user buys a USB Numeric Keypad would it
work for the user? This would eliminate having to assign keys on the laptop

keys which a user could assign say the application key if needed. Also in
JAWS setup wizzard he can change the layout from laptop to desktop if a USB
Numeric Keypad is used.

Hi Zdenek,
To get an accurate recommendation, you must specify the country as this may influence greatly pronunciations.
Keep in mind that your hearing ability may also play a part in the preferences as well.
Some people prefer female voices as the pitch is higher or maybe because it reminds them of their mom calling them for lunch,...(smile)
Being in Canada, I can give you the following recommendations.
(U S English) Samantha
(Canadian French) Julie
((Mexican Spanish) Javier

If I were in Europe, my recommendations would go as follows.
(Australian English) Karen
(French France)Virginie
(Castilian Spanish) Diego

For what it's worth, I've seen 2 in my years of playing with DVD's. I've seen plenty that could use it, but did not have it. When available, it's an option on the audio menu, similar to commentaries, foreign languages, 2-5.1 channels, Etc.

Hi Dave,

That's really strange. I just got a reply from my local movie theater confirming to me that they have audio discription available in their theater. So, now I am going to start seeing a new realese now and again.

I am not sure about the audio description in the Ease of Access Center, but it sound like that might be just what it is. I have never noticed it there before. Although it is becoming more prevalent these days, audio description, like closed captioning, is not available on all movies, but movies that do not have it are becoming more a thing of the past. I am going to try it out on my computer though. I have lots of movies, and surely some of them have audio description available on them. Thanks for pointing this find out.

person. Pressing space bar on that button should change it from
"following" to "follow".

That seems to do it. They don't seem to offer you choices of all, most,
or only important updates, but that following button seems to say you
get the items in your newsfeed or you don't. Give it a shot.

Thanks.

Hi, Lelia.
Not sure if this is quite what you have in mind, but on the PC, pressing the
two selector buttons simultaneously starts the display scrolling.
Pressing left or right selector decreases and incres speed.
Haven't tried this on the iPhone.

Hello, I am using my iPhone and I don't see how to get it to automatically
scroll without touching the panning buttons or rocker bars. I have looked in
the manual and in the Josh settings Center and I don't see what to do I
really have tried to look through everything I can. If anybody could give me
any tips I would definitely appreciate that. Thank you Lelia

That will be depending on whether you are pairing the Focus with the phone
or the PC. In the PC you will need to go into the Setting Center and search
for Braille and change the scrolling speed there. You can also slow the
scrolling speed when connected to the PC from the Braille display and I'm
not sure what keys or buttons to press to slow the scrolling down.

Hi all, my name is Lelia and I just got a focus 40 blue from a
friend, I got all the packaging with it including the braille manual
and the cd, I also have an iPhone 4 s with the latest update. here
is my question, can or is there a way to instead of scroll or panning
through a line of Braille in a book, is there a way to continuously
read a line and have it go directly to the next line? I know I can
have it read from top to bottom of a page but it goes so fast that I
of course can't keep up. I hope I'm making some kind of sense here.
