Re: Scrolling through address book in Outlook 2010

Dave...

Ted,

Did you catch the point that in the detailed address card view, you can also
quickly find an entry by just typing in the first few letters? You can't do
that in the phone list view.

=sum(a1,b1)
add range
Example
A1+B1+C1+D1+E1
=sum(a1:e1)
and Average also same
=average(a1:e1)
Find Minimum Value
=min(range)
Find the Maximum value
=max(range)
Find 2nd largest number
=large(range,2)
two square
=power(2,2)
2*2=4
=power(3,2)

I use the detailed address card view. Not only does it allow for simple
up/down scrolling, but if I type the first few letters of the name, it takes
me to that entry. That does not work in the phone list view.

I had to make some adjustments, after going to the address book, with
control+shift+
B.
Press alt+T for tools, then O for options. There you will find the address
book to use primarily.
After selecting the right one, remember that you need to tab once to get to
contacts after going to the address book with control+shift+B.

Thanks for the info, however, the Outlook2013 version is very different from
previous versions , it turned out to be Control plus Y to arrive at
the current folders list. I now have a list of all short cuts I downloaded
from the Microsoft site, it seems I have a long learning curve ahead of me,

Marion, I think you need to press control-1. That's the 1 in the number row
above the letters. This combination always returns you to the message list
in your inbox.

with the Outlook settings, I am now stuck in the table view and can't get
back to my folders, can anyone help please.

I'm surprised it no longer works in 2013, but I'm glad you posted the correction. For anyone interested, control+y also works in previous versions of Outlook.

Hi Adrian ,

Thanks for the info, however, the Outlook2013 version is very different from previous versions , it turned out to be Control plus Y to arrive at the current folders list. I now have a list of all short cuts I downloaded from the Microsoft site, it seems I have a long learning curve ahead of me, LOL

Re: tables in Word 2013

Dean Martineau <dean@...>

The way to track the whereabouts of the ribbon keystroke is to implement it step-by-step. With the cursor in a table, press the keystrokes sequentially and see where they take you. That key sequence indicates that the command is found somewhere on one of the ribbons that appears when you are focused on a table.

Need some help here. Using Jaws 15 and Word 2013. I want to display all Word styles. Default is to show styles in use, but I need to change this to show all styles. I’ve read there should be an Options button or link in the Styles pane to do this, but can’t locate it with Jaws. Can anyone explain how to change this so that all style choices are visible?

Thanks.

How can I open this file so I can read the text. I'm not sure if it's a
