Re: How long is a Zoom meeting available?
Thabo Baseki <THAB0.BASEKI@...>
Hello!
Just a few weeks ago, I had Zoom meetings which lasted for nearly 4 hours consecutively. The meetings were hosted by a pro account holder. With that being said, I guess you should be able
to have all the three zoom meetings as planned, from nine, to 10, to 11.
Best

Re: conversations withjaws in outlook 2013
Why not just use conventional conversation view, which uses date, and make the sort order newest to oldest?
Very conventional, very common, and gets you to the very message you want, every time, if you've either read the earlier ones or deleted them. Otherwise you'll land on the first most recent unread one, I think. I tend to clean out what comes in very quickly when it comes to business related messages, so I don't often have anything but the most recent one in a given conversation when the next message arrives to begin with. -- Brian - Windows 10 Pro, 64-Bit, Version 1909, Build 18363 The purpose of education is not to validate ignorance but to overcome it.

conversations withjaws in outlook 2013
William Windels
Hello,
Since not everything is accessible in ms outlook, like the treadview in outlook 2010, I was wondering If I am missing something.
My question: I have several mail messages from always the same sender and sometimes the same subject and I want just to have always Only the newest mail with that subject. This messages come from the 4me ticketing system as notification so, the subject starts with request # and then a number and after it, the subject of the ticket.
Since every change in the ticket generates a new mailmessage and only the last message is important for me, I would like that outlook cleans all old messages so that only the newest message from each ticket stays in the inbox.
Making treads and cleam up them , does not work perhaps it’s not a discussion and/or , all mails are from the same sender.
I need a rule like this: Remove all the mails inwith the same subject that are older then the newest one.
Any hint is very welcome
Kind regards, William Windels

Re: is chat function in Webex accessible?
Mark Fisher
-- Hi I've found using WebEx Teams desktop app good however sometimes their can be alot of tabbing. Meetings through WebEx Teams allows muting vidoe with a keystroke but this is not in the WebEx Meeting browser app. Also, in the browser app, their is no keystroke to raise your hand - I've raised this with Cisco WebEx Accessibility. We can schedule our WebEx meetings internally through Outlook which works well and allows people to join internally by the app or WebEx Meetings. I agree that the desktop app is more accessible at this point from my experience. Mark Fisher Principal - HR Systems Water Corporation

Downloading Jaws
Les Kriegler
Hi All, I wished to download the latest version of Jaws2020 this morning using Chrome. It didn’t finish the download, and I saw a file starting with the word unconfirmed in my downloads folder. Eventually, I tried the same download with Microsoft Edge and was able to complete the download as expected. So I uninstalled and re-installed Chrome. I tried the download again using Chrome and could not complete the download. Any ideas as to why this is happening? Best Regards,
Les

Re: is chat function in Webex accessible?
Abraham Sweiss
I thought it opened in the app, but could be wrong. Before using the app, I always had trouble logging into a webex session. Once I started using the app, it was easier for me to log into webex. Everytime someone enters in a comment to the chat, jaws reads it out, only issue is when the chat is rather active.jaws gets noisey.
I use short cut keys to navigate https://help.webex.com/en-us/7wr87q/Cisco-Webex-Teams-Keyboard-Navigation-and-Shortcuts
and
have some good information.
Thanks, Abraham

Abraham, I am trying to figure out the desktop app. If I open the app, I see a list of my meetings, a button to start or create a new meeting and some unlabeled buttons. From your experience, does a meeting load in the app if you launch it from a meeting in your list? I’m trying to understand if it’s launching a browser window or a special meeting window that is in the app. I launched a meeting from the list yesterday and did not feel like the experience of navigating was that different, so I’m wondering if it really loaded in the app. I’ll try logging into a couple additional meetings today.

Hi Brian,
I haven't had it happen since I have updated to 2004, yet but holding my breath. LOL I saw it on some tech list months ago when it started. I don't remember which one now. Getting old.

Shirley,
Nope it wasn't you. LOL I thought the same thing. Then I
thought that something had gotten into my computer. I did all

nothing.

I was afraid it was me. I kept asking myself what I had done. But the thing is, Word was on my desktop, and the next time I turned on my computer, it was gone. It wasn’t in the Recycle Bin, either.

There is also Remote Incident Manager from Serotek.

Richard, I have not seen any current JAWS scripts for Team Viewer.

I need to use Teamviewer to get help on a braille display from the company. Are there scripts for the latest Teamviewer and Jaws 2020? The Doug Lee scripts don’t think I have any compatible Jaws, but then again, those scripts are from 2015.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Tim,
Your instructions worked perfectly. Thank you so much. Word is back on desktop and it only says “Word.” I won’t have to rename it.

Hi there. Here’s how to retrieve something from the ether, especially, an icon that’s usually on the desktop. If it’s not in the Recycle Bin, you can locate it using the search field on the Start Menu, click on the item you have searched, E.G. “Word”, right click on it, choose Open File Location, Word should show up there, right click on that, arrow down to Send to Desktop as a shortcut, boom, you should have Word back on your desktop.
I hope this information helps.

Hi Listers,
It’s beyond my skills to understand why this happens, but Word is no longer showing up on my desktop. How do I get it back? It’s still in my computer, just not where I want to grab it.
Thanks for any help.
