How do I delete folders from outlook running Microsoft 365, Latest JAWS 2020, latest Windows 10?

Is there a second step needed to do a permanent delete ?

Also what are the steps to rename a folder in Outlook with JAWS 2020?

Why did you have to point out that he can see? I do not think of people being blind or sighted! I do not like it when blind people do this all of the time. I do not even think about my blindness most of the time, and I don’t think of people being blind or sighted. I don’t like labels. people need to stop doing this!

Have you tried using temporary place markers, and the layer command select from marker to current position, *then copying?

I am also having a problem with Firefox crashing. It only recently began happening. I’m running JAWS 2020 and Windows 10. Today, I tried Edge again after preferring Firefox. And to my happy surprise, it seems to be working much better for me. I’m more inclined to stick with Edge.

Microsoft Edge does not crash but Firefox certainly does and I’m using the latest Firefox, Jaws 2020 and Windows 10 2004.

Yes, here as well.  I think it came with a new version of firefox.  It has something to do with Jaws, I suspect because on one page where I can make it happen, it doesn't crash with nvda.

If anyone wants to have a crash with latest version of firefox go to www.cvstats.net and hit enter on country stats.  Firefox will crash immediately.

Starting a few days ago, for some unknown reason Firefox is crashing a lot.  I am using Windows 10 and JAWS 2020.  Is anyone else experiencing this?  Does anyone know why this might be happening?  Is there a solution?

Hi everyone,

I recently discovered Jaws has a screen shade function which turns off the display of  your PC. It seems to be a temporary option however, as every time I restart my PC I have to reenable screen shade. I have tried both the layered key stroke and setting  screen shade through quick settings , but as mentioned both seem to only activate  jaws screen shade until I boot down my laptop. Does anyone know is there a way of setting jaws so screen shade is always on?

You should first of all check that you are set to copy with the Virtual cursor in Jaws. Press Jaws V in your web browser and type copy in the search field.

Make sure that the copy is not for all formats etc but for virtual cursor.

Otherwise it  is possible that the web site you are on does not want you to copy text directly and is blocking copy. The only way around this I am aware of is to use Speech history.

Jaws plus space then H for history.

Here you can copy whatever Jaws has been reading.
