Finding errors on excel

Pablo Morales

Hi all,

On Excel, is there a way to find formulas with circular reference? I have a
excel document with 1257 formulas, and I need to find a formula where is
occurring this error "circular reference".

Is a way with jaws to find where is the problem between all these formulas?

Thanks

Re: Just curious -- what happened to Windows 9?

Nicole Massey <nyyki@...>

So was Vista.
Here's what I've found out using a simple web search.
There are a few possible reasons why they didn't go with Windows 9 as the
name. One possible reason is that 9 is considered bad luck in Japan. Another
suggested reason is that there is some legacy code that looks for Windows 9
to find out the version, and these old programs or anything that uses that
old code will think it's a Windows 95/98 version. Microsoft's reason is that
it's that big of a change in paradigm that they went to the more auspicious
10. Some folks also think it might be that they're planning on sticking with
the version name for a while, like Apple did with OSX, so they'll stick
around using different versions of Windows 10 for a while. The reality is
that it's Windows 6.4, based on the Vista 6x version, so they could call it
Windows 1,549,683 and it would have as much meaning as anything else. It's
just a marketing name. Of course, with the exception of the 4.x iteration
for Windows NT 4.0, even numbered versions of windows haven't been that
wonderful. (Remember, Vista starts with VI, the Roman numeral for 6) So they
could be shooting themselves in the foot by jumping to another even number.

Hp Printers

Kevin Hourigan <kevinthourigan@...>

Hello Listers,
I have a
hp laserjet pro mfp m127 fn, Jaws 16, Windows 7, 64 bit, and have installed it’s program, at least it shows up on my hard drive, but it does not show up in the control panel, nor when I press control P, on a word document, and arrow around to select a printer. A sighted friend got the printer to work manually, but I can not direct it to print using Jaws. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you, Kevin.

Re: system tray hidden icons

Paul Martz <skewmatrix@...>

Here's a way to show nitification area icons in Windows 7. It probably works
in Windows 8, too, and I think it's more straightforward than the methods
I've seen described so far on this thread.

1. Open the start menu. In the search box, type N O T I F.
2. Down arrow until you hear "notification area icons". Press ENTER.
3. In the Notification Area Icons dialog, SHIFT+TAB until you hear "Always
show all icons and notifications on the taskbar".
4. Press SPACEBAR to toggle the setting so that the checkbox is checked.
Then press ENTER to close the dialog.

I hope that helps.

Re: Optimizing Windows 8

Adrian Spratt

In case anyone is considering buying Windows 8.1, Windows 10 will revert to the Windows 7 start menu and other features, an apparent admission by MS that win8 and 8.1 weren't a grand success. A better bet might be to buy Win7 and wait for the win10 bugs to be ironed out. It Among other things, it could save a lot of learning and un-learning.

Subject: Optimizing Windows 8

Hi,

I have a new Dell Inspiron computer with Windows 8, and I need to know
how
to optimize it. I don't know how to use windows 8, so any help would be
great.
Also, wanting to know what I can delete that Dell puts on there, that I
don't nee.
I have JFW 16 installed on it and I have no idea how to find any software
I've installed.
Thanks.

We use 2010 here, and I have mine set up so the BCC appears in every sent
message, in case I want to use it.

Hi, open new message, press alt P and tab to show field groups, there you
will find BCC option

Kevin, if you are using Outlook 2013, you can access the options
ribbon, after you have opened a new message . You press the Control
plus N key to start a new message, and then press your Alt key. This
should bring up the ribbon for you. You may need to tab to the
options part, and then use the arrow keys to find the BCC field. Good
luck!.

Hello All,

The instructions for showing the BCC field say to go to options, and
the field group. I found options, but no field group containing the
"Show BCC Field Button". Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers Kevin.
