Good point. Assuming the word is in the dictionary, David will be asked to replace it after confirming the new replacement.

David,
Mike wasn’t suggesting you speak German. When you tab to the field he indicated, he was saying you’ll recognize it by the first spoken line. On his system, it’s German. On mine, it’s French. On your system, it’s likely to be one language or another.
You can arrow down this list or, as Mario noted, use first-letter navigation. After you get past the languages, you’ll arrive at your list of dictionary entries.
I just tried using a period as a first letter to find your term, but it seems I have nothing in my list that begins with that particular punctuation. So, you’ll need to arrow down until you find it. My guess is that it’s near the beginning of the list after you get past the languages, or else it’s near the end. You can go right to the end by pressing the end key.

I believe the lady you're assisting needs to install the Dropbox client on her computer. This will install the Dropbox folders containing all of her Dropbox data currently in the cloud provided she signs into it with the same Dropbox account. I would expect that if she executes a pdf file from its local computer location, Adobe Acrobat should open with that file based on how you set the default file program. I talked to the host about it, and she was just as surprised as I was, and what both she and I are curious about is whether it is a JAWS or a Zoom problem.
After I open up the chat window and then tab to the list of people available to chat with the first option there is is to chat with everyone. When I hit the down arrow key it gives the host’s name. When I hit it again it goes back to Everyone and after I hit it again it says the host’s name, etc., etc. It does not give the list of everyone in the meeting, so there is no way I can send a private message to the person I would like to send one to. The host and I can’t figure out why this is so. Is this a JAWS gliche or is it a problem with Zoom?

There are a few ways of achieving what you want. The most important thing is to make sure you have the DropBox Desktop installed as this is not entirely clear from your email. Depending on how much is in the Cloud and how large her hard disc is the easiest way may be to turn off Smart sync in settings and specify all the folders you want to have definitely available locally to to the lady you are helping. Another approach is to allow smart sync to continue but to them simply go the the relevant folder and bring up the context menu and find the dropbox options - here you can specify the options for that folder - the options are local and online. This is very similar to the ONeDrive option to “always keep on device” option. You of course need to set the folders or files to local to avoid the need to download them. It will take a few minutes to download and catchup. I am not on a Windows machine at the moment so I cannot give stop by step but if you bring up the context menu in file explorer on your DropBox synched folders you should be able to find the options for local or offline.

Re: How to correct dictionary entries for internet explorer?
Mario
a minor note. when tabbing to the list of entries, instead of down arrowing thru a long list, first letter navigation can get you closer to the entry you need to correct. for example, the list starts with words that start with b, pressing t will get you to the first word that starts with t. in addition, typing to will not get you to words starting with to but will get you to words that start with o. so first letter navigation works in this list.
