You said you "downloaded" Jaws 2021, I assume you also installed it afterwards, you know, where it asks you to accept the license terms and then it would say press enter to install, at the end it would say something about having made changes and you need to reboot?

As for hotkeys, you can't use the same hotkey on two applications, if, for example, you use Control + Shift + J for Jaws 2020 and you try to use it for Jaws 2021 it simply would not get put in, if you just pressed it and clicked OK and then if you go back into the shortcut properties it would still say "None" for keyboard shortcut.

Thanks Bill,
I did not ask the question but that works great.
Most everything is checked by default, so you have to uncheck those things you do not want to delete, but it shows the level of control you have on what things you want deleted, which is very nice.

Hello to my fellow jaws 2021 subscribers.
In short with edge, how do I clear my cash and cookies?
For some weird reason I cannot access my bank account with edtge.
I can find the log in button.
But I then should be able to tab over juse once and see the submit button.
I can do this within IE 11, which is no longer supported.
But I can not do it within edge and also not within google crome as well.
The bank's address is as follows:
https://nam11.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.northwest.bank%2F&;data=04%7C01%7C%7Cf9f3e0978f2a46390a2f08d8954f1836%7C84df9e7fe9f640afb435aaaaaaaaaaaa%7C1%7C0%7C637423514217925224%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJWIjoiMC4wLjAwMDAiLCJQIjoiV2luMzIiLCJBTiI6Ik1haWwiLCJXVCI6Mn0%3D%7C1000&sdata=jHL5380pFq9p6Xw8htkCgtlxopvAzcBSzKJS6D%2BJVbU%3D&reserved=0

Hello,
When I lift the lid of my computer, JAWS announces the volume level twice and then presents me with the lock screen to log in.
Is there a means by which to disable this volume alert announcement?
This is a new behavior for me as this had not been exhibited in
JAWS2020 or previous versions of JAWS.
Thank you in advance for any responses.

Hi Laura,
Although the site can be overwhelming, because of all its content, you
should use your state's workforce page.
You can upload your resume and they have jobs for your area, many of which
you can apply for the job through their site.
You can also set up a daily eMail with jobs in your area.
You do a search on their site for a job, and set the search criteria, I set
my criteria by zip code only, so I get all jobs in my area, because I would
do most jobs if it doesn't require driving or reading stuff like handwriting
and the like.
You will of course need to create an account on their site.
Other than that, be sure to try different browsers if a site seems to not
work with your screenreader, I learned to do alt + D and then copy with
control + C which copies the link of the site, and then open a different
browser and do control + L and paste with control + V, and press enter.
HTH.

When prompted to download the latest version of Adobe, is there a way to have Jaws announce the download progress? Tried to install it yesterday, but received no progress announcement.

The free macafee scanner would be okay, it won't prompt you to buy it.
The other box, the on-line scanner is probably a trial and should be avoided. I also unchecked the Edge add-in.
