I doubt it. The thing being shared is likely an image, and it would have to be ocr'ed and it wouldn't turn out well at all.

Hi John, What I mean is that I work with people who can see. They run conferences where they share their screens. I wondered if there is a way I can see what they are sharing on their screens. Thank you, Mike

Hi Michael,
I’m not quite sure what you mean, but I use Zoom frequently and share screens with other blind Zoom users. Obviously, as the other users are also totally blind, then they can’t actually see what is displayed on the screen, but they can definitely hear any audio soundtrack of what I’m sharing. Not sure if that helps or not?
Kind regards, Jon

Hi, is it possible when using zoom or WebEx to set it up to where I can see what people are sharing through screen sharing as a jaws user? Thanks.

I am using Windows 10 latest update and Jaws 2019. The Office suite is 2019 single version, not 360. Happens when apps close, such as Windows, Excel and other apps as paint, etc.

Yes, this is same issue I believe. JAWS either goes silent or crashes and restarts but takes up to 30 seconds. This is with latest Windows 10 and JAWS installed.

Hi all, for some reason outlook 2016 is acting weird today. All my mail that is supposed to be in my in box is in my deleted folder. Anyway, I have friends tell mee that a Gmail account is better. I supposed that is a matter of opinion, but I thought I would have both if possible. I am running outlook 2016, and jaws 2020, on a windows ten computer. Thanks for your help. Jim

Yes, and if I tab away or shift tab around the same window then the focus comes back. For a while the focus issue had been better but of the last release of JAWS and updates from Microsoft seem to have made the problem worse.

Question About Jaws Displaying Complete Web Form
Tom Behler
Hello, everyone.
Today, I was completing a ham radio log submission web form on line, where I had to paste the contents of a log into the form.
Usually, when I review the form after pasting, I can check to be sure that the complete contents of the file have been included.
This time around, though, I couldn’t do this in normal Jaws reading mode using the PC cursor.
The only way I could be sure that the full contents of the file was pasted was to manually put Jaws in forms mode.
Is there a setting I need to invoke so I can read the full form content without going into forms mode.
I’m using the latest Jaws 2020 update, on a Windows 10 PC.
I didn’t have this issue prior to the latest Jaws update.
Thank you!
Tom Behler
