I believe the previous message was saying that you could find game of thrones on the audiovault.net, not blind mice mart, the two services/websites are two totally separate things, audiovault.net is nothing to do with blind mice mart. Audiovault.net does have all of the game of thrones TV series, plus tons of other series  and movies too, , I personally think Audiovault.net has more content than blind mice mart.

No, the content was actually missing – it would take you to a sendspace page but the file was obviouslyr emoved and there was no download link. This happened with most of their movies (separate from deleting all the TV shows, which is something they announced beforehand).

Eventually I noticed some of the movies seemed to be re-added. And some seemed to be hosted directly on their server. At a guess they had an issue with sendspace, which may n ow be resolved, I don’t know – I don’t really use their movie vault  anymore.

Richard, do you know how much a subscription is for Blind Mice?

When the Blind Mice Mall Movie Vault uses direct download it works great.

If you have to use the free SendSpace download it is a pain.

If you buy a subscription for say 1 month to the high speed download with Sendspace, it works well.

As for other sites, I know of none that have mp3 files with audio description like what Blind Mice Mall offers.

Then, you are left with finding movie or TV shows for rent or purchase that include Audio Description or subscribing to services like Netflix who provide audio description on all their original content, or Disney Plus which offers a lot of movies and series with audio description.

The best source for finding out what shows have audio description is through ACB.

Hi Ron,

I’m going to paste what Jaws has from the speech history as I tab through my wife’s contact.

This will at least give you an idea of the fields.

You can fill in or skip any fields you like.

I think you can also add fields in each section by cliking on the button like for email and bring up other choices.

I’ll x out the phone number etc.

I think if you put their call letters in the display as field, that might work.

Hello, once again, from Ron Kolesar.

For my example on what I need help with, I’m going to compare windows live mail to the newer outlook mail package.

Now in WLM’s contacts, I was able to tab across and I had the following fields:

First Name, Middle Name, Last Name and then nickname.

If I were to place a say call sign for my ham radio friends in the nickname field, when I wanted to write a letter to that firend, I could start typing in their call sign and the e-mail address would appear within the to field.

  1. How can I do this within the outlook mail package?
  2. 2. Again within in WLM, you had with one contact to switch from personal to business to have two contact information in one contact, instead of having to creat two contacts for the same person.
  3. How can I also do this within Outlook?
  4. Last but not least.
  5. I have some friends with multiple phone numbers and a cell phone number and multiple e-mail addresses.
  6. How can I enter in this information as well?
  7. Very Thankfully Yours,
  8. Ron Kolesar

Good morning to my fellow jaws users.

  1. Where can we find the area that allows us to adjust how often we want our mail to come in via keyboard commands?
  2. When I ship mail out with attachments, I usually go to the file that I’m going to attach then go into the sent to menu and go down or up arrow to sent by mail then put in the address and so on.
  3. How can I add not only one attachment, but multiple attachments to the outgoing letter?
  4. If I remember correctly, within WLM, you started adding attachments by alt I, then went through the keyboard shortcuts to add multiple attachments to the letter.

For some weird reason my wave file for receiving mail isn’t working in my sound scheme.

  1. I have both the desktop mail and the new mail with the same wave file.
  2. When I go to test the file it plays correctly.
  3. But, when I want it to go off, it doesn’t.
  4. The help desk will be calling later today to see if it is fix and we’ll take it from there.
  5. But for now, it isn’t going off.
  6. The wave file that I want to go off is the trucker4.wav file from the old Jim Kitchen game trucker for the beep beep sound effect since I have a roadrunner account.
  7. Many thanks for those who try to help me out.
  8. Ron who hates it when you need to have your computer formatted and slowly rebuilding it to try to get everything working once again.

Well, depending on exactly how fancy you want to get, I’ve used NoteTab Pro for years as a basic html editor.

It has many templates that you can pretty much fill in to get the basic page, then, you can either do the rest by hand, or use the pull down menus to add other html codes.

I don’t know if it is still being developed.

Also, CSS HTML Validator is a great program for editing and creating web sites, but it is very complex and I probably only touch about 5% of its capability.

I don’t do anything with forms or online purchases, just basic information on my site, which is mostly a hobby.

When I first began to learn HTML I found some very good online lessons, but that was 18 or 19 years ago.

Try searching for learning html code or something like that.

Hello List,

I am interested in dipping my toes in the waters of coding, programming, and website design.

Can anyone recommend, books, websites, courses, or podcasts to locate on these topics. I am a total beginner when it omes to these areas.

I use Jaws 2021 on a Windows 10 laptop, with a Focus 40 Braille display. Currently I am working on my Salesforce Admin, and then hopely the Nonprofit Salesforce certification.

You can share on this list or just e-mail me directly at jlukacsena@...

Thanks,

I don’t see a way, other than maybe what Richard suggested below to add a nickname. I can see how that would be nice.  Maybe there si a creative way to do it I havent’ thought of yet.

As Richards speech hisotyr shows, there are four different default phone number fields, but you can hit the button to the left of any of those fields to change the label on the field to a different one, such as pager.

While only one email field shows by default, I outlined the other day in this thread the way to add a second email address.

No email system si perfect, so hopefully you can make this one meet your needs.

When the Blind Mice Mall Movie Vault uses direct download it works great.

If you have to use the free SendSpace download it is a pain.

If you buy a subscription for say 1 month to the high speed download
with Sendspace, it works well.

As for other sites, I know of none that have mp3 files with audio
description like what Blind Mice Mall offers.

Then, you are left with finding movie or TV shows for rent or purchase
that include Audio Description or subscribing to services like Netflix
who provide audio description on all their original content, or Disney
Plus which offers a lot of movies and series with audio description.

Does anyone know the sites which are accessible for movies which have                 audiodescription?

It seems as if the blind mice mall does not work os well, or at least, it didn't the last time I visited it.

Thanks,

Justin

Hi,

We are still uploading shows on audiovault.net. If you find one that
is on blindmice and not on audiovault let me know and I'll sort that
issue out.

Hi,
Audiovault.net actually offers Mp3 movies and shows, but there are not
nearly as many as Blind Mice Mart has. I, too, am looking for other free
sites.

Richard, do you know how much a subscription is for Blind Mice?

Sincerely,
Jasmine

When the Blind Mice Mall Movie Vault uses direct download it works great.

If you have to use the free SendSpace download it is a pain.

If you buy a subscription for say 1 month to the high speed download with
Sendspace, it works well.

As for other sites, I know of none that have mp3 files with audio
description like what Blind Mice Mall offers.

Then, you are left with finding movie or TV shows for rent or purchase that
include Audio Description or subscribing to services like Netflix who
provide audio description on all their original content, or Disney Plus
which offers a lot of movies and series with audio description.

The best source for finding out what shows have audio description is through
ACB.

Blind Mice stopped uploading TV shows, maybe that was the missing content?

I’m glad I grabbed what I did when they had TV shows available.

“not nearly as many as blind mice mart has”…

Are you sure about that?

That certainly wasn’t my impression. Especially after BMM removed their show content.
