Re: OneDrive Tips or tutorial
Just as with Dropbox, once you signed into OneDrive with your Microsoft account allyou have do do is make sure all the files you want to sync are inside the OneDrive folder. You do have to check OneDrive settings as by default it may keep content more in the cloud, but you can choose for everything to download so that a local copy is on your device.

I would like to start using Microsoft OneDrive so I can have the same files on my desktop computer and ElBraille computer. Does anyone know where I can find tips on using OneDrive, or a tutorial?
I would like my files to be kept locally on each computer and constantly synchronized with OneDrive. That way I could work on a file even if the internet is not available and it would synchronize and update when the internet became available.
Thank you for your help.

When you get to the point at which up or down arrow do not work, have you tried right or left arrow? I got passed one of those spots doing that, but it is still wrong, that should not be happening.

Richard, I am using print tab, and my pages in the view tab were set to one page. So unfortunately, the mystery continues. Thanks. Larry

I just noticed that too. With my wife’s help, I discovered two things. One, make sure on the view tab you are on print view. Also on the view tab, tab a bunch and make sure it doesn’t say Multipage after the zoom info. If it does, arrow down to one page and hit enter. I have had to do that with a couple of documents in the last few days. Quite annoying.

Hi, Not sure if I’ve sent something to this list about this. Something has changed. Now I hear at the end of page 1 dialogue I’ve written, and it goes to page 3 and skips page 2 etc. I think I’ve fixed this issue before but don’t think I kept that piece of information. I do not hear this in Narrator at all. I do hear it with all versions of JAWS on my PC. Thoughts? Larry

Hi all, this is Michael and I'm sending this email just want to ask y'all on softwares that can convert Mp3 files to mp4. I'm trying to upload my podcast to Youtube but it won't allow me. Everytime when I attempt to upload a file with mp3 format, Youtube will say that the file format is invallad. I want to know is there a software that can convert mp3 file to mp4 or wave? Thank you and I'm hoping to hear from you soon. Please press CTRL windows and k for setting the placemarker. Then, just hit the letter k to jump back into the position of that marker. This sets a temporary mark, of course, but another way is to press CTRL shift and k to get into the placemarker dialog. Then, you just name your marker and press the okay button. This is also the same keystroke, CTRL shift and k if you want to delete a more permanent marker like the one I just showed you. The temporary mark, placed with windows CTRL and k moves as you move it down the document/no need to delete the previous mark. Ashleigh Piccinino

Hello everyone:
I have just installed Windows 10 on a friend's laptop.
For some reason, only understandable to Microsoft, Windows 10 keeps issuing sounds, which indicate something but, no window appears on the screen for JAWS to speak its content thus, leaving me very exasperated as to how to find out what the tone indicators mean.
Any ideas?

Re: Accessible electronic password managers being used?
Jim Weiss
I use Password Safe for my Windows installations and PW Safe for my Mac and iPhone. There is also a version for Android. It is open source software and regardless of the platform they share one database. I keep my database on my iCloud Drive and then run iCloud for Windows so I have access to the file on all of my devices. The Windows version is free, but the Mac/iPhone had a nominal charge. I purchased the software about 8 years ago so I don’t remember the exact cost, but I think it was $15. It is very accessible on Windows (with JAWS and Narrator), iPhone and Mac with Voice Over. I have reached out to the developer on several occasions and he has been extremely responsive and takes accessibility very seriously.

Rick:
Which suggestion solved your problem?
Was it the person who suggest you turn off Outlook
in the Settings Center or, was it the person who suggested you change the
setting in Outlook.
Whichever of these suggestion solved your problem,
it would be very useful to other list members to know because, it may also help
to solve their problem as well.

Rick:
Did the person working on your computer, make
changes in the settings within Outlook?
If so, then your problem is not with JAWS but
Outlook.
JAWS only reads what is placed on the screen.
So, for example, if you are using a program, and a window opens from Outlook,
displaying a new message, JAWS will read the text within the newly presented
window.
Also, Outlook is not your email carrier, it is your
email client.

Hi List,
I'm preparing a presentation for late September where I'll discuss electronic password managers. While I intend to focus on KeePass, I also want to mention any others that folks are successfully using. The only criteria is that they be accessible and work both with a computer and a portable device. Another person will be presenting on 1Password so if anyone can offer other recommendations meeting my criteria, I would very much appreciate it.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions you might have.

I have been using lastpass for a while now, and although it definitely
has some accessibility problems, I have managed to work around those. I was using keypass, but I could only use it on windows, the IOS and MAC stuff is either broken or not available, so I switched to lastpass instead so I could use it on all my devices.
