how to import ms access tables into sql management studio developer 64 bit 2014

Marvin Hunkin <startrekcafe@...>

Hi. was wondering, got sql management studio, and created a ms access database, now how to import my access tables into sql management studio, when I try this, and run as admin, get error messages saying the process is running, the files are in another program, but I don’t open them, using sql management studio development 64 bit version. Any tips, links, or is there a script I can run, to get these tables into sql management studio 2014.

Thanks.

Actually I spoke too soon. Still running into the problem. It only
seems to happen if I open a file through Windows explorer; if I open
it directly in Notepad it's usually fine, though not always.

Okay, turns out my screen was rotated. We got that straightened out
and it seems to have fixed the Notepad issue. I deleted the Wordpad
configuration file as well, but that problem still remains.

I'm not sure what has happened; I didn't have this problem until a few
days ago, and I've had the computer for a couple of weeks.

I only know of Jaws Key+F3 which lists all virtual elements, but it doesn't
actually list each individual link, button, form field etc, instead it
gives you a list like this:

Anchors list
Block quotes list
Buttons list
Checkboxes list
It goes on, with my Jaws 17 Copy it tells me when I bring it up and it
announces the first one, Anchors List, that it is 1 of 19.
Then of course there are the keystrokes to bring some of these up
individually, e.g. Jaws Key+F5 for form fields, Jaws Key+F6 for the headings
list, Jaws Key+F7 for the links list etc.
I actually don't know of a keystroke to bring up let's say the buttons list
or anchors list, but that doesn't mean there isn't one and it's easy to get
to that via the virtual HTML elements list.

Keep in mind that if you forget you can always go to a website, turn on
keyboard help with Jaws Key+F1 and then press keys and function keys to hear
what they are.

Hello there;
I believe you can turn off the graphics options hotkeys shortcuts,
By doing the following;

1, desktop,
Ctrl+spacebar, or, the f5 key to unselect icon,

2, press the applications key,
Down arrow until you hear,
Graphics options sub-menu,
Right arrow to open, you will hear hotkeys,sub-menu,
Now down arrow and press enter on,
Disable.
Hope this helps.

I am have Jaws issues in Notepad and Wordpad in Windows 10:

Notepad: I can read by paragraph, but when I try to down arrow through
a document JAWS just says "blank".

- Wordpad: It takes several times of the move paragraph command to
make JAWS move to the next paragraph.

I know this is a JAWS issue because I've tested it with NVDA and
gotten no problem.

Re: List all Virtual Elements

I only know of Jaws Key+F3 which lists all virtual elements, but it doesn't actually list each individual link, button, form field etc, instead it gives you a list like this:

Anchors list
Block quotes list
Buttons list
Checkboxes list
It goes on, with my Jaws 17 Copy it tells me when I bring it up and it announces the first one, Anchors List, that it is 1 of 19.
Then of course there are the keystrokes to bring some of these up individually, e.g. Jaws Key+F5 for form fields, Jaws Key+F6 for the headings list, Jaws Key+F7 for the links list etc.
I actually don't know of a keystroke to bring up let's say the buttons list or anchors list, but that doesn't mean there isn't one and it's easy to get to that via the virtual HTML elements list.

Keep in mind that if you forget you can always go to a website, turn on keyboard help with Jaws Key+F1 and then press keys and function keys to hear what they are.

Sieghard

I know there is a key that will list all of the virtual elements on a page or in a document, but I can't find it in the list of keystrokes.
I believe it used a ; but am not sure.

Antivirus question about settings for Internet

Tusing <ptusing@...>

HI,

Is  it true as  I have heard that if one removes

A v g

One loses every change one may have picked as a setting on the

Internet to work  better with JAWS?

Please suggest some way around if this is actually true.

Am  using Windows 7 and JAWS 16.

Have a fine day.

Have you tried the other selecting method via the extended selection mode

However, seeing as you want lines, and the extended selection mode only does word, paragraph and entire document, you might not want to use that method.

All,

When I try to select several lines of a Word document by pressing
shift+down arrow repeatedly, I am for some reason only getting it to
select the last line. What's happening?

I haven't yet, but I can't even find anywhere in my settings that
would let me alter a graphics card, or what I would need to alter.

Kelty,

I don't rely much on dialogs or panes in the MS-Word or MS-Office suites.
Often they work or not, depending on JAWS and Office version interactions.

All things considered, I'm still thinking that you have a problem with your

graphics card and how it's interacting with JAWS. Did you ever have someone

look at your computer screen?

Again, I have done both a repair and complete reinstall because of
other issues. This hasn't fixed anything.

One more issue: When I am in the endnote pain of a Word document JAWS
will not read the endnote numbers. It will announce them in the text
of the document but not in the endnote pain.

This is almost enough to make me switch over to NVDA.

If you download a later version, I don't believe it will work the
same as a repair of what you currently have.

good luck!

in case you weren't aware, once you've selected a character, word, line,
whatever, pressing insert+shift+down arrow will repeat the text that was
selected.

Could you be selecting the lines of text so fast that JAWS cannot read each line due to typing interrupt?
