Re: i tunes

Hi,
When you are in the albums list in iTunes, press the down-arrow, and then
press the up arrow quickly, and then you will hear what is there. After a
certain update of JAWS, and also after a certain update of iTunes, it started
acting like this with JAWS. That is the only work around that I have found that
works consistently. So, if you down arrow so many times, then press the up arrow
as soon as you quit up arrowing, you will hear what is there. So, you have to
keep pressing down and up arrow to hear what is on each line of the albums
column. I hope this makes since.
Take care.

hi
I have never used scrip's for I tunes before I do recall being advice
a long time ago to get scrip's but the truth is up until now I have never
had a problem getting around I tunes.
so this is my fall I tunes story. I have been using I tunes fine for years
with jaws 12with no scrips , but on the last I tunes update which I did
about a week ago jaws as now stopped working properly in iTunes. so now I have I
tunes open and when I alt tab in to the program jaws will say I tunes album
table but if I press any curser key jaws will say nothing. now if i press tap it
will say first first search then tab again my music radio button
checked, for you radio button not checked, new radio button not checked, radio
radio button not checked, connect radio button not checked, i tunes
store not checked, play list tree view albums 4 of 9, play list tree view
library, playlist tree view edit button, play list tree view music, play list
button, play list tree view show, then its back to albums
so as you can tell jaws reads all
this fine so I go to album table and curser but jaws says nothing.
now the next strange thing is I go to
where the albums are and curser down then tap along to the songs and if i
curser there jaws will read the tracks fine.
so the only bit it wont read as far as I
can tell is the bit where the albums are listed.
well as always thinks for reading my
raberlings and if any one can suggest any thing to try I would be
grateful.

Hi, I use iTunes with the latest version of JAWS, and the only trouble I have is navigating the artist column. What you need to do, is to downarrow, and then up arrow really quick, and then JAWS will read the artist you are on. For example, down arrow three times, and then up arrow really quickly, and you will here the artist that is three arrows down. You also need to have iTunes set up properly. You need to have column browsing turned on by pressing CTRL+Shift+C. This will caus your iTunes display to show three columns. You should have an artist, an album, and a songs columns for a total of three columns that you can just press up and down arrow on. Items not being displayed in sent items folder
Ann Byrne
My student is running Office 2010 with Windows 10, JAWS 17. Although her inbox displays items beautifully, the sent items folder shows no items, even when items have been sent and the folder not emptied. In file/options/mail, the item to save sent items in the sent items folder is checked. Is there something else that needs to be tweaked so that her items go to the sent folder?
Thanks, Ann

Hi list, the thing you actually need is a program called windows update assistant, not the media creation tool. called the microsoft answer desk yesterday and performed the updated installation successfully. it does't read edge right yet as blind bargains promised, but that might be because both jaws and NVDA must be updated first. the screen readers maybe have to catch up. will look for a update for JFW 17 shortly. other wise everything is still in place. still have to figure out what the updated cortana can do.

Another Observation About System Restore
Tom Behler
Hello, all.
Ok, so, I exited Outlook, and got back in, and my Outlook folders no longer display correctly, even after having done the system restore, which apparently only corrected the problem temporarily.
I’m now really starting to pull out what little hair I have with this problem.
Can anyone help me figure out what is going on here?
Sorry to keep this going, but it is really getting frustrating.
May have to call FS in the morning.

System Restore Question
Tom Behler
Hello, everyone.
As I noted about an hour ago, doing a system restore solved my problem with the folder display list in Outlook 2016.
However, for some reason, the first time I tried it, the system restore back to two days ago did not stay.
When I got back into system restore, the “Undo system restore” option was checked, and I could not get down lower on the screen to check the option that lists restore points. I could find the option with my Jaws cursor, but could not access or check it using the P C cursor.
I had to seek sighted assistance to get to this option.
Does anyone have a work-around for this issue?
Hopefully, my earlier system restore point will stay this time.
Thanks all for your patience.
