When I am searching for something using google chrome, it tries to predict what I am searching for and it is usually right but I’d like to not have any suggestion.  How can I stop that from happening?

Last question:  I’d like to create a signature and would like to know how.  I am using JAWS 2021, windows ten, and a laptop.

Thanks in advance.

Check your notification settings.  The new version itself will not cause you to not receive notifications.

It works fine.

Even when I get the notifications, I go to: www.freedomscientific.com/downloads/jaws and get the whole package anyway.

I find sometimes updating while Jaws is running is not a smooth experience, so I also unload Jaws when I run the .exe file.

But, to each his or her own.

I do have my jaws notification set to notify me when an  update  is ready too b   installed.  But in this instance, I had too go to a  link that a list member  sent too install it.

Now I’m wondering, if this update will cause me not allow me to install future updates when they come out.

Not sure if anyone has noticed, when in Microsoft Teams and using ctrl+2 to bring up the chat list, you can arrow down and if you want to remove one of the chats, there is a hide option if you arrow down.  It is the one after the mute option.

I use startpage.com as my search engine, and it sends your search through

Subject: suggestions
When I am searching for something using google chrome, it tries to
predict what I am searching for and it is usually right but I’d like to
not have any suggestion. How can I stop that from happening?

Last question: I’d like to create a signature and would like to know
how. I am using JAWS 2021, windows ten, and a laptop.

Thanks in advance.

I’ve never run into this.

You must have some tool tip at start up.

I’d call Microsoft Accessibility for the quickest solution 800-936-5900.

Hi,

While in the document, hit insert V to open JAWS quick settings. Type “table” in the search field, then arrow down to “automatic table titles”.  I have mine set to off.

Hi everyone,

looking for help.

using jaws Version 2020.2003.13

& Microsoft word version 2016

lets say I create a table in word,

4 columns, 4 rows.

now using the table keys,

control, alt, arrow

as I come down either column 2 3 or 4

the jaws is reading out the content in column 1 before it reads the content of the row I'm in.

How do I stop the jaws from reading the content in column 1?

Thanks for any help,

Angus

Hi all,

Not sure if anyone has noticed, when in Microsoft Teams and using ctrl+2 to bring up the chat list, you can arrow down and if you want to remove one of the chats, there is a hide option if you arrow down.  It is the one after the mute option.

JAWS seems to read some random things at the beginning when you arrow to the option as below:

.st0{opacity:.74} Hide ‑
