Brian,
thanks for your responses. As always, thoughtful and to the point.
Curiously, both of your emails came to my In box, whereas nine others from the
group came to the spam folder. (Well, of course, nothing you send would
ever be spam, chuckle.) I’ve
rooted around a bit but am not sure where to find the function to mark as not
spam. Any suggestions gladly received. Don

When I am in the chat window reading chats by arrowing up and down, I hit control-a to select all and control-c to copy. I open up a word document and hit control-v to paste. This copies and pastes all of the chats, so you can find the link or chat you want later.

I have not tried the jaws cursor method described, but I plan to. I have not been able to copy just one chat, so I hope this jaws cursor method works for that. Randy Meyer

You can always save the text chat window. That way you have it when you want it. Also, this I have not tried, but can you copy a line from the chat and paste elsewhere? Perhaps not, but saving the chat will work.

But, Gmail itself should not be marking Groups.io messages as spam anyway. There has been a lot of direct interaction between Groups.io management and Google to get this to stop happening quite a while back. I just turned on individual message delivery again for five different groups yesterday and not a one of the messages that resulted was classed as spam by Gmail itself via its webmail interface. -- Brian - Windows 10 Pro, 64-Bit, Version 2004, Build 19041 The purpose of education is not to validate ignorance but to overcome it.

i am on the nearby explorer group and i was marking it as not spam for months. both in wlm and in the gmail web mail and it would not stop. i had to log on to gmail and create a filter useing the to field, not the from field. now this group is going to the normal in box. the only thing i don't remember is if i am useing the simple html view on gmail or not. with one you can setup this rule. with the other you can not.

Wells Fargo’s web site works well with JAWS. It works a bit better with JAWS 17, but is okay with the latest FAWS 2020.

If you are trying to access a Zoom meeting via an e-mail invitation, you want to select/hit enter on a link that would read as "Join A Zoom Meeting" or you see a web address that begins with "https". Both instances, JAWS would say "link". You can also copy the 9 to 10 digits number and paste it into the Zoom application by opening Zoom, click Join a Meeting, and in the edit field paste that room ID. Milton

I have used Bank of America quite successfully with Jaws and also with their app on an iPhone with VoiceOver. It is one of the more screen reader friendly banks. Capital One is as well. I’ve not used Wells Fargo or chase.

I would like some suggestions for Banking sites that work well wit Jaws for on line bill paying. I have used Citi bank for years, they have changed their on line bill pay Web pages and it is difficult. Took me 30 minutes this morning to pay one bill and when I clicked on make another payment it took me off to a page that had nothing to do with bill pay. Would like to hear experiences with Bank America, Wells Fargo and Chase from those using them. Thanks, Tom

Email Migration
Don Walls
Today I installed the JAWS update without
problems. However, my server migrated my emails to Google Mail. With
help from a sighted friend and a tech guy at my server, we did the deed. I
note that since then my JFW list emails come to a spam folder. Is there a
way of altering this?

Corel WordPerfect
Richard Turner
in today's Jaws 2020 update, there was a line in the enhancement list that caught my attention.
There are scripts from Corel Corp to improve Jaws with WordPerfect.
I suspect you are about 20 years late, but I wondered if anyone is actually using WordPerfect with Jaws and if the reveal codes are accessible, and what the overall performance is like?
I used WordPerfect for NOS, and then WordPerfect 6, 8, and 10 with Windows and Window-Eyes andx was great. Then, Corel turned its back on screen reader users, and I had to switch to Word, which since 2003, has been excellent.
But, I'm very curious if it really works with Jaws and if these new scripts help.

Try this. 1. Open the ribbon search edit field (ALT-Q) 2. Input - Switch Ribbons 3. Press DOWN ARROW until “Switch Ribbons” is selected If it’s checked, Press ENTER to uncheck it.
