braille display with jaws

Hi everyone,
I am new to this group, and I hope that my questions is appropriate to be addressed in here.
I was wondering if someone could advise me with regards to where I could purchase a portable wireless braille display (40 cells)?
I am a Jaws user; however, I love to engage in reading in braille. Although I like when Jaws would read to me a long piece of text, I still wish to also remained active with my braille reading skills. As braille books takes a lot of space, braille displays are just perfect when reading electronic text in braille.
I would be very grateful if someone could help me with this query.

Hi all, If you have OE classic, I have many questions for you, and if you can get back to me about this, I would appreciate it I tried it a few years ago, when it was free, and spell check didn't work well etc.. So, here are my questions. How much does it cost? Does it work with windows ten and jaws 2021beta? Does spell check work well with it? Is it hard to installs? Where do you get it? Is there any down side to the program? Thangkas for your help on this. Jim.

sounds like there are two function call issues.

try press insert+windows+f4. this should unload and reload JAWS after a ten or so seconds. if the problem remains, try restarting the computer. if the message persists, unload JAWS by pressing alt+f4, press windows+r, type jaws followed by the version number, followed by a space and a slash and the word default, and press enter. this loads JAWS with a diagnostic set of defaults. see if the message persists. you mightt have to call FS to fix it: 727-803-8600 or 800-444-4443.

version of Edge that is supposed to work best with Win 7. When on a Web site
every time I press the enter key I get a long message about an unknown function

Hi Jed When I went on that links you give me in here this morning then I went to my sister stories page where she post the devotional then I press shift -down arrow to each line to the end then I press ctrl-c its not saying copy selectso why is not copying ? How do I get each line to the end to selected ,is it shift-down arrow ? Also I notice its in microsoft edge website and What is the jaws command keystroke in microsoft edge and google chrome got get website browe links ? I tried press f6 key that doesn't work right to get it to say http/ facebook.com/number

This is Henry. I have to second that motion. I bought a Cisco kit from Ebay for under 400bucks. From the last time we spoke, I supplemented it with two wireless access points, an ASA firewall, and a catalyst switch and ISR router. For the server, I am using Microsoft server 2016 using the trial reset for 1080days or 3years of a fully working trial and JAWS with aremote license.

I’m getting frustrated when I’m on any of my fb friends stories post when I was reading the stories post when I tried to to selected the devotional from someone post when I press shift+down arrow to selects each line to the end then I press ctrl + c to copy select so it won’t say nothing and when I was in where it’s say like showed react when I press enter on showed react it won’t even open the box where I can arrow down on love to press enter its keep taking me back to the top of the stories !! Why is jaws not doing something right to copy with ctrl + c and not open show react ? What do I need to work this out ? Addison

I've gotten an actual human response within a day, the automated "We got your message" response has always been near instant. I haven't had reason to contact FS since the spring or so but I've had plenty of dealings in the past.

Kevin, When I open an attachment, I just press F6. Can then arrow to the word “Enable” and select it. You can then save it or you can save the attachment, then press F6 and keep on going.

Hello, I’m using the most recent versions of Jaws2020 and MS word2016. When ever someone sent me a MS word file it is always in protected mode. A number of people that sent me the file didn’t send the file in protected mode. Is there a way to stop this from happening? To read it I have to move in and out of the window. I cannot save the file so I would copy it and paste it in another file. I was able to save attachments in Outlook. I still would like to be able to open the file from the email, read it and then save it. Thanks, Kevin
