How to Skip the Windows 10 Login Screen and Log Into Your User Account Automatically

First, log into your Windows 10 user account as you normally do by entering your password at the login screen. Next, click Start (or tap the Windows Key

on your keyboard) and type netplwiz. The “netplwiz” command will appear as a search result in the Start Menu search. Hit Enter on your keyboard or click on the result to open it.

A new window labeled “User Accounts” will appear, listing all user accounts on the PC. Click on your user account to select it and uncheck the box labeled “Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer.”

You’ll be prompted to enter the user account’s password (this is a safeguard to ensure that other users on the PC can’t change the settings for accounts they don’t have access to). Enter your account’s password and then click OK to close the window.

Finally, test the new setting by saving all open work and rebooting your PC. If all steps above were performed correctly, Windows 10 should bypass the login screen and load directly into your user account without prompting you for the account’s password.

after giving up a few months ago, this is exactly what I did today and it worked! When I checked the box, made sure the correct user account was highlighted, then unchecked the box again, the apply button became available. I hit enter on it, typed in my password, and then okay, and voila.

Thanks and of course, Merry Christmas to you, also. I have my Win10 PC, but have not done much with it yet. I did play around with Dictating a little with Win7, but that has been a few years ago. I do not currently have a decent microphone, so thought I might consider BlueTooth. My new PC is supposed to have BlueTooth on it. I really should take the time to get my programs moved over so I won't need to keep going back to the old one. You know how hectic it can get this time of year! Maybe things will slow down a little now that Winter is here. I don't like going out in the cold and snow.

Again, I wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

First Merry Christmas Carroll:

Well, it sort of works,
I can listen to things pretty far away about 40 ft or so;
I do notice a couple of things:
Using a wireless Logitech headset with mic;
Windows10 and jaws 2018;
I first notice that many times when I tell it a command, instead of
executing it, the wsr types it into the document I was trying to read with
insert-downarrow which is supposed to read to end of document.
Second, like right now, when I told it to open outlook, it just dinged at me
like it didn't know what I am saying.
I think it should have worked better because sometime back prior to the
headset, I trained wsr to hear my voice and it sort of did it sometimes;

This is true, but I’m not always near keyboard;

Hence the reason for headset with mic for dictation to the computer.

It has been a long time since I tried this, but you could also try saying press insert key plus down arrow key.  My take on this would be that it is faster to just go ahead and press it my self, grin.  Merry Christmas.

What command would I say for wsr to type an insert-downarrow for jaws to read the rest of a file?

So, instead of pressing the insert-downarrow manually, I wish to tell wsr to do it;

When I try the command:

“press insert-downarrow” it just dings at me like it doesn’t know the type of command;

Yet,

When I tell wsr to just simply move down, or press downarrow, it knows those commands;

This is what makes me think I could issue voice driven jaws commands?

Please advise?

Hello Sugar and best of the season to you as well,

There were issues with the auto complete and Windows 10, but appear to have been corrected in the Jaws 2018 version; what Jaws are you using?

Cheers Kevin.

Hi all

Merry Christmas to everyone who celebrates this fine day!

Well I am slowly getting my programs together.

Still having issues with skype and signing in but oh well.

I want to know the following please.

-how to make win amp play an entire folder

I use to use the key alt, f and P and it would play.

-how does win amp keep playing my folder instead of stopping after each song?

E mail:

When sending a new e mail jaws is not completing the address, it does not even show up and it is in my contacts.

For example I have to manually type each address out.

When I first got windows 10 I had to type the address for this group manually once or reply to someone so that it could remember who I want.

I did the key F3 where my contacts are and all my address are there.

Why do they not show up when I start a new e mail?

-How do I get jaws to announce “delete” when deleting an e mail?

Thank you so much for your patience, kindness and for not letting me feel alone during this transition to windows 10

Thanks again

Sugar

hello;

I haven't used winamp in a long long time, however, if I remember correctly,

1, open winamp,

2, press shift+l=folder,

3, now navigate to the folder,

4, now tab ok, the music will start to play.
