Does that mean you can hear Jaws when you're sharing your screen with sound whilst showing a video, without Jaws being heard by the other meeting participants? Cheers Zel image001.jpg Zel Iscel Disability Specialist Inclusive World Mobile: 0413813885 Email: zel@inclusiveworld.com.au

Tab across to Open and Export and press Enter. 5. I've not detailed all the following steps as I think you should be able to work it out from there. You just need to ensure you highlight the correct folder to export from and set the various parameters in a small series of dialogue boxes. Let us know if you need further help. I have 2 PC computers with Biostar motherboards and
AMD CPU(s), which I purchased and installed in 2010; A system with an Asus
motherboard and AMD CPU, which I got in 2013; and an HP DV6
laptop, which I got in 2012; and my wife has a DELL PC system, which
she got in 2013. With all 5 systems, I have know idea how long those
components for the desktop systems and the laptop had been on the market
before they were purchased or installed.
In January of this year, I decided to install
Windows 10, 19-09, on all 5 systems. So far, Microsoft has updaded
all 5 computers to the latest version of Windows 10.
I have a friend who purchased a new computer last
January. It came with 19-09 installed. His machine has not been updated
from 19-09 as yet.
There seems to be no logic as to how Microsoft's
update utility and system works in deciding which systems should receive updates
and when.

Hi, I have also tried to use my braille display for writing on this program. However, I have had no luck. I prefer to use my keyboard for writing, then use the braille display to edit. It works better for proofreading than for writing.

Evening all,
I’m working with Perky duck and am attempting to use my braille display to write in braille and can’t. Any suggestions? It appears to be displaying computer braille only, but as far as I can tell not even the entirety of computer braille. For example, the th sign appears as it should, but the letters don’t work at all.

I don't know what criteria they use as to who and what computers get the updates but, if you haven't received the, 20H2, update yet Microsoft is finding a reason to not send you the update and updating prematurely could cause adverse reactions to your operating system or in other words,be a total pain in the ass!

Mike:
It’s interesting.
This Windows 10 computer is still back on Windows version 1909.
I have thought about forcing the update, but have decided to just let it happen when it will.
If this is unwise, I hope someone will let me know.
I’m working based on the old addage: “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it!”.

Richard,
Don't force the issue. Windows will send you the update in due time. I don't know what criteria they use as to who and what computers get the updates but, if you haven't received the, 20H2, update yet Microsoft is finding a reason to not send you the update and updating prematurely could cause adverse reactions to your operating system or in other words,be a total pain in the ass!

Presuming this is Windows 10, you can determine that in Settings, Update & Security, Windows Update Pane, using the View Update History button. Yes, it is, plus, if, for some reason, you are unable to pay for the SMA at the end of the two years, your JAWS won't go back into 40-minute mode, the way it would if you were unable to pay the $90 subscription.

Now, is that the home edition? I scaled down to home and it cost me $165 Canadian. Because I am registered with the Canadian National institute for the blind (CNIB) it made me tax exempt. Thus no taxes on the SMA. Now with all this subscription talk, it seems at $90 per year, it is cheaper to pay for 2 years of SMA at $165 rather then $180.

Last year I had Fusion, ZT and JAWS, I became totally blind so no longer needed Fusion and ZT so FS reduced my SMA to just JAWS for $150., well actually $120 because I purchased it during convention. ----- Original Message ----- From: Tom Nelson Sent: Thursday, December 10, 2020 3:59 PM Subject: Re: Jaws SMA

It sounds like the operating system partition
may not have have enough free space left to handle the update.
Stay safe and take care. Mike.

A tech also had problems updating my system until a partition was removed from the Samsung 256 GB solid state drive. i.e. The drive was changed from C and D to just C drive. The fresh install then went ahead without a problem although I had previously successfully updated the system numerous timeswhen major Win 10 updates were released. Maybe 20H2 does not tolerate a partitioned solid state drive or then again, it could be just my system. Cheers Tom
