Hello Group,
Later this week, I am going to deliver a presentation through Zoom which I would like to record.
I know there is a Record button/option in the Zoom Menu. Is there anything that I need to be aware of in terms of setting up/activating in setting up the Record process?
In terms of the camera, I would just need to position it so it is focused on me as I am doing the presentation.
All help is appreciated.
Best, Justin

Re: Go to next link, whether visited or not
Also, if the only controls on the page are links, tab or shift+tab will take you to the next/previous instance regardless of whether said instance has been visited or not. I realize that many pages have other types of controls interspersed on the page, in which case I'd definitely try Mr. Spratt's recommendation of using the links list, but if you know you have a page that is exclusively links or where other controls are either before or after the "link rich zone" you can use TAB and SHIFT+TAB once you're "in the zone." --

Re: Go to next link, whether visited or not
Mark,
You may want to check out the Navigation quick keys
Open the Jaws window with insert+j
Tap alt.
Right arrow to utilities, and down arrow to Navigation Quick Key Manager sub menu, right arrow to open it.
Press enter on HTML/PDF...
Press the letter a until you land on: Any Link. Tab to edit key assignment.
I use links far more than lists, so I set this to the letter l. It will warn you of a key already assigned. If you want to do that, just hit OK. And hit ok until you are out of the dialogs.
Then, you can use l or shift+l to jump to the next or previous link no matter if it is visited or unvisited.
HTH,
Richard

Pressing insert-F7 brings up a list of the links on the webpage, and they’re shown in succession. If your focus is on the current link, chances are that opening the links list there will place you in the list at or near that link and the
next. I find this varies by website.
I'm on web content where I want to go to the next link. However, I don't know whether it is a visited or unvisited link.
Is there a navigation quick key to move to the next link, whether it is visited or not? The tab key goes to the next focusable item, and there could be several buttons or input fields between the Virtual PC cursor and the next link.
I've searched the documentation and this list for any existing help. Couldn't find any.

I thought it would be nice to listen to music through the Yeti and have JAWS come out my external card. Well, it would be nice, except it doesn’t work. I tried this, and JAWS goes silent. Hi.
The Yeti has a sound card as part of it. I'm currently hearing JAWS, as well as all other Windows sounds through it.
Currently, JAWS is set to the Windows default source as its sound card. The Yeti is also a choice in this menu.

I forgot to mention, that you can do this for all your documents downloads favorites folders and if you ever lose your hard drive they’ll all be on one drive and when you reinstall windows you just point them at the one drive folder after it downloads and it’ll all be back just like it was before. I can tell you how to make windows look at that folder but the problem you’re going to have is none of your shortcuts that weren’t created on that system aren’t gonna work. Go to this computer users your user folder then you go to the desktop folder don’t open it. Press alt plus enter then control tab till you get to the location tab. Now tab to change location.Press enter on it and navigate Press enter on it and navigate to the desktop folder in your one drive. Then select that folder and click OK.It will ask you if you want to move the contents of that desktop folder to the one drive desktop folder. So you press it will ask you if you want to move the contents of that desktop folder to the one drive desktop folder. So you press yes if you do know if you don’t. Randy Barnett

are moved to the link, choose the link again from the links list, and choose
Activate Link, and press ENTER. Sometimes this works to bring up the link
when simply pressing ENTER or SPACE doesn't activate the

I go to my

listing of newspaper links and chose a news paper with no problem as
well. The newspaper's listing of sections is read by Jaws and displayed
but when a sections link is chosen the listing of articles do not appear. I
can still arrow around to the different section link choices but the
articles never come up.
This happens with

Re: Windows side by side
There are definitely Windows Keyboard shortcuts of the Windows Logo Key class that do this. Go to the Windows Keyboard Shortcuts Page, expand either all of the commands or only the Windows Logo Key section. Search for Windows Logo Key + Left Arrow, and you're in the section about maximizing to the left/right half of the screen and further down they get into vertical, rather than horizontal, stacking. --

An update: RE: I'm encountering a very strange sound card issue with trying to switch JAWS to an internal card.
Hi all.
Randy, you hit on something. I switched the default sound to the Yeti and set JAWS to my internal laptop. I had no speech. I then unloaded JAWS and started it again, and no joy. This was before your message. I then wondered what would happen
if I did the same thing using my Toshiba TV as the main card, and ran JAWS through the PC. No luck, but then I read your message. I unloaded JAWS, reloaded it, and it worked. I then wondered if I could change the default card to Yeti. At first it didn’t work,
but once the HDMI cable was unplugged, I had JAWS coming through the PC, and all other sounds through the Yeti. Go figure.
Thank you all for your patience on this issue. To be honest, if I were going to use the Yeti and JAWS together, it would make more sense to have the laptop as the default device, and JAWS go through the Yeti. Whatever the case may be, at
least I know it can be done.
Thanks again for the ideas.

Okay, now you can have Jaws play through the internal soundcard. Whatever soundcard is set to the default is the soundcard that music and system sounds will play through.
With the Yeti being the default soundcard now setting Jaws to run through the computer's internal soundcard is done in the Jaws context menu / utilities as Mario explained earlier.
Take care and stay safe. Mike.

Hi again.
I'm not sure if I'm in the same place, but in the Volume Control, I select the Yeti as the playback device. There's a Set to Default button. I hit that, and sounds come through the headphones I have plugged into the Yeti.

Re: I'm encountering a very strange sound card issue with trying to switch JAWS to an internal card.
Hi Kevin,
Okay, I understand better what's happening,
but what you're doing should work, I do this all the time with any version
of Jaws I have installed with no problems. What I thought at first was you
were wanting to run the system sounds and music through a soundcard other than
the soundcard set as the default. Have you tried unloading Jaws and
reloading it after you press enter on your soundcard selection?
Take care and stay safe. Mike. Sent from my iBarstool.

Yeah jaws has been doing that for years… You just unload jaws completely and reload it every time you switch sound cards that way. Randy Barnett

check if the Yetti is set as the default playback device (system default). if it is not, there is a default button when focused on the Yetti.

Re: I'm encountering a very strange sound card issue with trying to switch JAWS to an internal card.
Okay, now you can have Jaws play through the
internal soundcard. Whatever soundcard is set to the default is the
soundcard that music and system sounds will play through. With the Yeti
being the default soundcard now setting Jaws to run through the computer's
internal soundcard is done in the Jaws context menu / utilities as Mario
explained earlier.
Take care and stay safe. Mike. Sent from my iBarstool.
