I am using Windows Live Mail on a Windows 7 computer running JAWS 2021.  I will be switching everything to a new computer and want to move the emails from this computer to the new machine.  Is there a way to do that?

Do you still have to disable Audio Ducking to use the Jaws setting? Because if so, I prefer to use Silenzio since it works seamlessly on my system, so far.

Some people set their profiels to “friends only” so you wouldn’t be able to see if they had filled it out unless they were already designated as “friend” on the site.

Unsolicited messages also often go into a separate folder that many people hardly check

By the way, just so folks here know, not only Groups.io but a number of other websites do not handle long URLs gracefully when they contain a lot of punctuation characters within them.

The direct download link (as well as the English tranlation page) both contain embedded semicolons, and the link stops being fully "linkified" at that point.

That's the reason I used (and generally use) click-through activation text.  It gets around that problem.

Try using Microsoft Edge's translate feature on his site.
It is quite good.
I posted the steps earlier,
But, here they are again:

For you and others who want to know how to get Edge to do the translation, hit alt+d to bring up the address bar when you are on the page you want translated.
Tab to show translation options, which for me shows up just after enter immersive reader.
Hit the spacebar on that and you will get your options. The first, of course, is translate page.

Justin, keep in mind of course that some may not want to be reached out too.  My step daughter was trying to connect with long lost family members. However, since her culture has an open door policy, show up when you are hungry or need a place to stay, even though you can afford a restaurant or lodgings, the place where you show up is expected to look after you.  The person declined knowing her. The party looked exactly like her uncle and other family members. I guess the person smelled a hanger on, especially when my step daughter was looking for a place to live, without contributing anything financially or work wise as in cleaning up after herself. Even though English is the primary language spoken, some for convenience I suppose, hang on to the old cultures especially when it benefits them.   .

I am not finding, and cannot remember, the braille command to enable typing into an edit field with Jaws using an Orbit Reader display.

Does anyone know?

I thought it was space+dots1,2,3,4,5,6.

That isn’t doing anything.

I’ve check the documentation …

Thanks,

Richard

I go through the About section looking for things that I know about the person to compare and also look at their friend list to find people in common.  It is hard when there are several people with the same name and they don’t fill in their profile.  Sometimes, I have just sent the person a message with a question that only the person that I am looking for could answer and hope that they get back to me.

Read the “about” link. If it matches what you know, then you probably have the correct person. Another method is check who their friends are.  I mentioned this because some use a different name.  Sounds dicey I know but, I know of one person who uses a different name to her legal name. The only reason I recognized her was by her friends, we had the same.

I sent a friend acknowledgement message to someone and on her “about” info it had that she was married.  On that I said to say “Hello” to her husband.  Only problem was, her husband died at least a year ago and she did not update that.  I understand completely, I was just glad she did not get upset about my foe paw.
