I did find this WP plug-in which is supposed to make the admin interface

Hi Steve,

Thank you! This is exactly What I am looking to do. I didn't even
need to put in column names! I also found that if I want the titles to
say something more meaningful to me, I only need type that information
in and Jaws will read that instead of the obscure titles originally
created by the owner of the file. I shall use this feature of Jaws a
lot. The only difficulty is trying to use the 4-key command. Do you
remember how to turn on sticky keys or can you give me an idea of where
to find this command? Thanks again.

Hi Carol,

You can identify multiple rows as titles. The trick is to select a cell
from each row, in this case maybe A2, A3 and A4, and then press the
keystroke to set them as titles: JAWSkey + Alt + Ctrl + C

You should then hear the titles read every time you move from one
column to another, but not when you move up and down a column.

Does that work? Is it what you need?

Hi,

My spreadsheet was set up by someone else. The column headers begin on
row 2 and go through row 4. Each line has one word. I.E., A2 is
Company and A3 is Symbol. there is F2 with Date of F3 original F4
Purchase.

There are ten columns and the actual data begins on row 6. The
spreadsheet name is in A1.

Using the information that was posted yesterday with how to get columns
headings to speak, my spreadsheet only said "title" when I arrowed
through the cells. I am sure I may have done something wrong, but I am
thinking it had more to do with my headers being broken into multiple
rows.

Is there a way I can either combine the information on each column so
that each word still remains in three rows, but only takes up one
physical cell, or is there a way to get all three rows spoken with the
column identification. I hope this makes sense. I don't want to
change the physical appearance of the printed sheet. Thanks for any
help. If you need further clarification, please email me off list.

There's not really a lot of issues with screen readers in word press. WordPress has released several themes that are screen reader friendly though. To find them search for #a11y when looking for themes. They have been trying to make it better for screen reader users, but like I said I don't know if the deletion of tags issue has been fixed with wordpress.com as I don't use it very often. The other problems like the visual editor are easy to fix because all you do is turn that off. So there's not really much to report to them. It's pretty much accessible out of the box withouthaving to do anything to it.

check out the themes wordpress has to offer. Some of them will let you
customize the text once installed.2. Categories are what you would
clasify the blog articles you write under eg. Lawsuits, technology,
rants etc. 3. I know there's a way to code them in, but i don't know
how. There is also a widgit that will let you customize menus from
your categories. Google and the wordpress forums should be able to provide you with more information.

Re: I need few keyboard command for outlook desktop app

Much better to turn virtual ribbons off, it's an artificial way FS created to deal with ribbon menus for those who don't want to take the time to learn otherwise.

2. To create a group, tap alt then h then c then g.
Give the group a name. Then tab to the options for adding members.
Once you have all the members added and it is saved. When you send a
message, put the group name in the to field.

3. Hit Alt+f then t for options. Arrow down to calendar. Tab
through there to find your options. You probably want to set a
default alert and perhaps other things.

Or, you can set an alert for individual appointments if you do not
want all appontments to have an alert.
I don't have the exact steps for that, but if you type set alert in

Re: Libra Office not being read by Jaws 18

It is my understanding (which may be wrong) that LibreOffice doesn't use Java
for accessibility support anymore.

At least under Linux, where I've tested it, its accessibility seems to have
been worsening in recent releases.

Brandon Keith Biggs <@brandonkeithbiggs> wrote:

Hello,
I installed Libra Office on a Windows 10 and I also installed the JRE. I
opened Libra and Jaws does not read anything. If I close Jaws and start
NVDA, Libra reads just fine. If I open a document in Libra, close NVDA and
open Jaws, I can read the text of Libra, but not the menus.
The accessibility mode in Libra is checked.
Perhaps the Java Access bridge did not configure properly? How can I check
this? Does anyone have any other ideas?

Hello Folks,

I agree it
s accessible. but I think it's pretty more cool if those with more
experience can share insightful method they use in doing it. I have
set up my website with wordpress but trust me, it's lot of trial and
error not a straight forward method.
If anyone can put up an archive to teach others on this, it will be very good.
