it doesn't say anything. but it is copied to the windows clipboard.
but it is a image not text.
once in the clipboard you can paste it into wordpad or simuler word processor that will except a image from the clipboard.
i don't know which one. i have never used ms word etc.

P.S. I’ve had a few other JFW emails come into the In box, yet others go to the spam folder.  Curious!

Don,

I do have Windows Live Mail 2012 installed, but I would advise anyone, including you, that's attempting to use it with Gmail to switch to another, supported, email client that handles modern security protocols.

I cannot even get Windows Live Mail 2012 to behave consistently with a Gmail account when the Google setting to allow less secure apps is turned on.  If it's off, it fails entirely.

I've helped a lot of people get Windows Live Mail up and running even after it went out of support.  I won't be doing that going forward because it does appear to be getting flaky, which I knew would eventually happen.  I'm telling everyone to wash their hands of it, as matters will only continue to get worse with the passing of time.

At 4:00 I queried flight info on Research it concerning Southwest Airlines flight 470, receiving an informative reply. three hours later when I place the same query, JAWS says the flight number is invalid. It's the same stinkin' flight number, same airline abbreviation with same 3 digits following, no space. This has happened before. Any idea how to fix it?

Don,

What are you using to read e-mail?   I would need to know exactly what webmail interface or email client before I could possibly give accurate assistance in this regard.  If it's an e-mail client, and it's not one I have installed, you may be out of luck.

Brian, thanks for your responses.  As always, thoughtful and to the point.  Curiously, both of your emails came to my In box, whereas nine others from the group came to the spam folder.  (Well, of course, nothing you send would ever be spam, chuckle.)

I’ve rooted around a bit but am not sure where to find the function to mark as not spam.  Any suggestions gladly received.

When I am in the chat window reading chats by arrowing up and down, I hit control-a to select all and control-c to copy. I open up a word document and hit control-v to paste. This copies and pastes all of the chats, so you can find the link or chat you want later.

I have not tried the jaws cursor method described, but I plan to. I have not been able to copy just one chat, so I hope this jaws cursor method works for that.

With focus in the Chat window, use JAWS to read the link then use JAWS History by hitting JAWS key and Space then H. Then you can select the link and copy it to the clip board and paste it into your browser's search bar, or to a Word Document to save for later.

You can always save the text chat window. That way you have it when you want it. Also, this I have not tried, but can you copy a line from the chat and paste elsewhere? Perhaps not, but saving the chat will work.

I'm not arguing with you here, but I have never had this not work if I am doing so within Gmail webmail.  If a client is involved it depends on exactly what it communicates back to the Gmail server, and some don't communicate back that something has been unmarked as spam.

But, Gmail itself should not be marking Groups.io messages as spam anyway.  There has been a lot of direct interaction between Groups.io management and Google to get this to stop happening quite a while back.  I just turned on individual message delivery again for five different groups yesterday and not a one of the messages that resulted was classed as spam by Gmail itself via its webmail interface.

marking it as not spam doesn't always work with gmail.
i am on the nearby explorer group and i was marking it as not spam for months. both in wlm and in the gmail web mail and it would not stop.
i had to log on to gmail and create a filter useing the to field, not the from field. now this group is going to the normal in box.
the only thing i don't remember is if i am useing the simple html view on gmail or not.
with one you can setup this rule. with the other you can not.

Don,

Not knowing how you're reading your e-mail messages, it's hard to be any more specific than this: Virtually all webmail and e-mail clients have a "mark not spam" button/function for things that land in spam in appropriately. Once you use that function a couple of times, that tends to fix it.

I don't know exactly what you mean by "my server migrated me emails to Google Mail," in this context. But you can definitely also set up a Gmail filter that says if something comes from the groups.io domain it should not be marked as spam. That probably won't be necessary, though, if you unmark as spam for a day or two.

I have used Citi bank for years, they have changed their on line bill pay Web pages and it is difficult. Took me 30 minutes this morning to pay one bill and when I clicked on make another payment it took me off to a page that had nothing to do with bill pay.

Would like to hear experiences with Bank America, Wells Fargo and Chase from those using them.  Thanks, Tom
