hi, been looking around on line never heard of audacity until a couple days ago even back in my sonar days. hmm wonder why. might give it a try.
too bad about sonar.
for backwards music things try the dsp's   that comes with winamp. preferences then you should see dsp effects.

Based on a comment from a VFO tech support person about 2 weeks ago, all future releases of JAWS will be based on the full year of release, with the intention to have annual releases.  So JAWS 2019, JAWS 2020, etc.

Help Is Appreciated Thanks To Anyone Who's Willing To Help Solve This Issue

Hello everyone. Last week, I was playing with my Braille Display connected
to Jaws on my Laptop. Due to some problems with the cord, I returned the
cord and bought a new one. This morning, when I connected the cord
everything worked and I could see things happening on my Braille Display.
During this process, a problem occured as only few symbols at the left end
of my display are displayed when I use it with Jaws. Last week it worked
perfectly and I had no problems. Additionally, as I played around with it I
changed some settings. On Tuesday, I need it at school. Can someone please
suggest a solution of making it return to its normal operation some I could
see all the controls and easily move to them. Please and thank you. Any help
is appreciated. Thanks once again.
Cheers,
Owais

Hi HTH  The reason why I didn’t installed jaws 2018  because the man who repairs and computer programmer and computer technology was trying to repaired jaws 18 and I told him that my sister give me a package from FS so she opened it and say it was jaws 2018 disc so he looked at it and say leave that alone for while that was last year in November!! See I don’t know how FS mailed the jaws 2018  tomy sister and FS didn’t tell me about it in email or called me.

That’s a really straightforward process; I admit I haven’t looked in a while but I’ve no doubt at all that Audacity can still do this.

I have a question about Audacity. When I used to use Linux, they had an effect that allowed you to play a song backwards. Do you know if Audacity is able to do this, or if there is an AddOn that allows for this? Right now, I use Total Recorder, and, as far as I know, it doesn’t allow for playing a song backwards.

Re: Practice Online Forms

HH,

Have you ever practiced, or helped someone practice with that CareerPoint form?   I ask because I began using it with my client and large parts of it are inaccessible, at least by any method I know of.  You cannot get the prompts to read for any of the answers that must be entered using Yes/No radio button pairs or multi-box checkbox lists for starters.

I'm trying to figure out if I'm somehow missing something or if no one can get to the information via JAWS.

By the way to everyone reading, I'd still love to have suggestions for online forms that one could use for practice.  The intention is not to ultimately submit them, so it can be pretty much anything that allows for practicing with the web objects that are commonly used for online forms.

Bill,

To my knowledge, Audacity has never removed any of the features/filters it had, only added to them.  If it was in there "way back when" it should still be in there now.

My guess is that Audacity simply "reflects" the entire track to pull off that trick.

Re: jaws video card and dvd wmp

HH. Smith Jr.

Hi,

I rarely turn on or plug in my monitor. The only time I use my monitor is when I am repairing or working on a computer that won’t boot up its’ operating system or when someone is looking over my shoulder at the screen. When my monitor is on I have a tendency of trying to follow the cursor as it moves across the screen and that gives me a tremendous headache. It is a bad habit and I can’t seem to stop it so I keep the screen turned off until required to turn it on.

To answer the second question, JAWS intercepts the video signal before it gets to the monitor. I am pretty sure I’m correct on this, but open for correction.

isn't jaws somehow linked to the video card driver to protect it being copied?
I wonder how many on this list actually have their monitors plugged in.

Was your sound card having problems? The way I read that is it helps if the windows sound settings were at 0, or muted, but if it is working normally, it will do nothing but refresh the screen. I found nothing else about reinitializing sound cards.

that keystroke again.

This might not work reliably for you. I don't know this software you

perform the same action. Have you tried the standard cut and paste? Where do
you get the items to drag from anyway? File explorer?

Have a look through the software documentation and see if you can pick up
