Re: Winamp volume
Yeah, although the volume control does work in the eq, its’ not a function of the eq. The pre-amp gain is, and you control that with grave and tab once the eq is on. Up and down arrow for volume

The Up and Down arrows only work for volume when you are in the EQ Tab. To get there, use Control Tab twice from the Play List Editor Tab.

while in the main window, pressing control+alt+k pans the sound to 0%
making sure it sounds balanced, meaning that the sound is playing 50%
out of the right speaker and 50% is playing thru the left

Re: Winamp volume
Thanks to those who answered my query regarding how to increase the volume in Winamp.
Unfortunately pressing the up or down arrow while playing an mp3 file does not change the volume level at all.

That sounds like it is system dependent, I have a few of these $10 USB to 3.5mm plugs which are recognized as a USB sound device and I can also switch sound to my screen which is connected via an HDMI
