Re: JFW speaking too much info in latest ms word
Hi Ann,
It sounds like formatting markers are turned on in Word. You can press control + shift + 8 to toggle off formatting markers and JAWS should stop announcing them.

Outlook 2016 Question About Reading E-mail Fields
Hello, everyone.
I used to be able to read the various fields in an open Outlook 2016 e-mail message using the alt key, followed by the numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, etc..
This now no longer works.

I wrote to JAWS tech support yesterday, and they confirmed it is broken. They told me they would add it to their list of items, and to watch for tech updates on their web site.

Hi Anne,
Just press Control+Shift+8 on the top row of numbers. That will turn off space and paragraph markers.

I did not know that Jaws command.
I just had my wife check and the text is not on the screen, but obviously Jaws speaks it.
Anyone can open any program using the mouse or touchpad however, even
