Have you checked the Keyboard Manager to see if that key combination is no longer mapped to a script?

I’m not sure if there is some Windows setting I have engaged (or not), but I always see on these lists and elsewhere that people have trouble getting the JAWS cursor to function as it used to in

I get that here as well, depending on what context I'm in. Otherwise I get nothing.
I suspect the days of using the jaws cursor like a mouse and navigating with it are coming

Copy and paste work in the areas where they are supposed to work. And that's good. I sure use them a lot too. But as has been said, it's not the same thing; not all software has an edit menu with

Well, as I mentioned at first below, F6 does not do it. The alt+v then h
thing works to get me *into* the header/footer pane, but my problem still
remains once there - I cannot get out of it and back

I never used Jaws drag and drop because it never worked for me. Conditions had to be just right. I did some trouble shooting and followed their steps to make it work but it didn't.

Hi, Casey. They didn’t say they are the same thing. They said that usually you can get the same result with the clipboard actions as you can with Drag and drop. I don’t agree with what the support

They told me that in most cases, CONTROL plus C, and CONTROL plus V act as drag and drop. However, there are cases where the object to be dragged and dropped doesn’t respond to the clipboard

I think we all need to tell them to unretire it. What a ridiculous thing to do--remove a very useful and sometimes very necessary feature.
