press alt, then t for tools and o for options.
move to the update tab in the advanced category.
there's a section where you can choose the setting you want for
updating. down arrow to never.

If that's happening then something else is wrong with your Windows installation. The default browser should not ever change unless you change it (and under Windows 10, at least up through version

Impossible. I have tried the latest version of Chrome with JAWS 16 and it constantly crashes every time I try to access search results using Google. According to the moderator of the other JAWS

not compatible with the current version of Chrome. if you were using
JAWS 2018 or above, then you'd be set in using either the

Hi Google Crome works wonderfully with Jaws 13. The only problem I have is that Firefox updates too quickly and becomes the default browser... I can't seem to find how to tell firefox not to update..

No, Strong is a form of font, like Bold, only more emphasised.
Insert+V from within Word, then check what attributes you have turned on,
for JAWS to read.

I don't think so. Chrome does not work with JAWS 13. It only works with JAWS 18 or higher.

As a rule of thumb, with the speed of computers now, if you write to the card, give it 10 or 15 seconds, then you can pull it out safely without ejecting.
