Friends: Windows 10, jaws 2019 latest update, adobe acrobat DC 19.0.
This behavior seems to have started after March update of Jaws 2019.

I wish I could take credit for it but a much wiser, more experienced transcriptionist turned me on to this. I particularly like the "lamp on" noise as a very subtle sound for proofing.

I have seen this setting in the Dictionary, but am curious as to ideas for when people are using this. So far, the only dictionary entries I have made are when Vocalizer mis-pronounces a word.

Have you tried with Openbook? I know you can convert text files to audio but, I don't know if Daisy is an option.
