Microsoft Teams is not at all the same as Teamviewer.
Teams is a communications platform, it replaced Skype for Business.

I don’t see much point in using a third party program, I can zip a file or a folder simply by right clicking on it, arrow to “Send To”, expand with right arrow and select “Compressed

Again, working for me. I went to the JFW system tray list with JAWS Key and F11, then selected my network, pressed enter, and got Troubleshooting, or Open Network Sharing etc. Everything

Team viewer lets groups of people see things together. Witch in a school environment will probably be necessary

7 zip, all the way, it's free, and you can use even a better archiver than standard *.zip and that is 7z for smaller files.
there are 64 bit and 32 bit versions.

Why not add the account to your laptops outlook, unless they don't let
you do that -- then you can still use your regular outlook.

Windows 10 can natively work with zip files; you don’t really need any extra programmes, though some can give you more versatile options and so you still might want one.
