Jaws stops responding
Hi,
Jaws sometimes suddenly starts saying insert f1 help and stops telling me what’s on the screen. Any idea why this could be happening and what I can do?
Am using jaws 2018, win 10.

Re: jaws cursor follows the pc cursor
In Jaws 2019 and maybe later versions, you press the insert + control + the minus key on the numpad. To make it stay put while holding down the insert and control press the minus key twice rapidly

This would probably require a Jaws repair or a call to tech support. I've Haven't run into this problem and don't have a clue as to what to do. Please let the list know when you find out how to

Re: Jaws updates
They usually keep updating the previous version for at least another year after the next one comes out. They had to keep updating 2018 because they promised this version would work with Firefox

Jaws updates
How long does FS keep updating older versions of Jaws? Just surprised to see 2018 updates when 2019 is the current version.

Re: jaws cursor follows the pc cursor
it is not turning off permanently.
i found out it is doing this globally. no matter what program i am running when i reload jaws 2019 , it will be on.
there must be a setting in the default script
