Sory I copied and pasted and it was all selected but it must of not pasted all.
Just go to the ribbons and over to the search field and type in desktop notifications for email and you will find it

1.Select File > Options > Mail.
2.Under Message arrival, select or clear the Display a Desktop Alert check box and then select OK.

if you're wanting to install 2019, I think the offline installer will
have the OCR component included. make sure you save the offline installer.
