I find that if you let the ad run for about ten seconds, then the B method will work. The Skip ad button doesn’t come up at the beginning of ads, so you have to watch a bit of them.

Oops, I forgot to mention that once you're on the category you want to bring up, you do have to hit Enter (spacebar would probably work, too - you're just activating the category) before you hit

I noticed that after issuing the command, hitting space will bring up the panel quickly.

It can be slow to appear after the keyboard shortcut is issued. And that's even when there's not a screen reader involved. I have no idea why this is.

Those two keyboard shortcuts remain unchanged. Are you in a field that would allow text entry when you hit either one?

Neither is true that I know of. I am certainly not in incognito mode,
and I only have one extension and it is call tab to window and that is
it.
