Re: accurate item counts in file explorer windows
Dean,
Switch to Narrator, which gives counts for both the current screen and the entire file list in a folder. Switch back to JAWS, and JAWS is now likely to report the desired information.

Multiple speech schemes?

Dean,
This seems not what I am looking for.
The chatwindows only exist if you have a chat, so you have to pin it
each day again and remember what number it is. And I have more outlook

I use the properties box to check many things, adjust file permissions/ownership, etc (though I usually get to it simply by pressing alt-enter), but again, I have to ask – why go through all this?

Re: Audible webpage.
I have noticed when in Firefox, and Sometimes in Chrome. It is not consistant, so it is hard to pin down what JAWS is looking at. I also notice extra text along with the book titles when in Chrome.

Jaws 2020 Beta, Brave and Edge Dev.
LOL, IE does have its place. Chromium based browsers are my daily drivers.

What browser and screenreader do you use?
I even tested it with Internet Explorer since I seem to remember you are fond of old and slow things and I
