This depends on whether you want to use your browser's bookmark capability,
which has nothing to do with JAWS, or if you want to use JAWS to mark places
on web pages to return easily to those places.

control+windows+alt page up or page down makes the change in rate
permanent. without the windows key in the preceeding keystroke, the
change is temporary.

Another possible way of doing this is using the JAWS skim reading utility. If you bring up the utility, and then go down to the fourth item, you can select colors and attributes to search for. There

And if you do a say all and Jaws is talking you can simply press Page Up or Page Down to slow Jaws down or speed it up.

Yes, Dean, I did what you said, then did a JAWS repair, and it did ask me to merge a few things from JAWS 2018. I did, and it turned out to be no problem. Now JAWS is running as fine as ever.

I love learning things I didn’t know before. I tested all this, figured out how to highlight text in Word from the keyboard, and JAWS found it. NVDA indeed does not.
