If your settings are set to not include the original message, you need to change that.
Then, when you get into the body that you are planning on typing into, first press control + home, and

The difference is that Brian provides context for his messages. If someone decides to delete messages because they are not responded to up top, that is completely their choice. On a high traffic list,

I don't think that people intentionally delete everything, I think that some folks have not figured out how to set their eMail client to show original message, or they turned that off, not knowing

On another list I am on, there are a few people who do not quote *anything*. It's almost impossible to tell what they are talking about at times, because there's no context at all
