Control+shift+N not revealing page number in Adobe Reader 10, when used with JAWS 2020
Hi,
When I press control+shift+n to check my page number, it says '1',
when I know for a fact that I am not on the first page. It refuses to
reveal what page I am actually on. The reason I am not

Hi Jessica, thanks for the reminder about default settings. I toggled it on and the page read fine.
I’m thinking I should go back to the default of the Chrome settings. I’m not sure how to do

Re: Jaws not seeing text or links on web site
Hi,
I’m using the latest update of jaws2020, with the newest version of edge, and jaws read the list just fine.
Perhaps, you should try to do this with default settings.
Thanks,
Jessica

Re: New JAWS Scan Cursor
I kinda doubt that this is possible, I have no idea how JAWS determines it, but apparently the SCAN cursor is used only when the JAWS cursor would produce no
results.

New JAWS Scan Cursor
Hi,
Is it possible to disable this and go back to using the old JAWS Cursor to stop it automatically swapping to JAWS scan cursor?

Yes, you have to select that option and hit the space bar. Or, nothing happens.

Only if you allow it. After the upgrade JAWS asks you if you would like to migrate your settings from JAWS … to JAWS 2020.

They should. Should being the operative word there.
If not, run the Startup Wizard from the help menu.
That should give you an option to import your settings I think.
Mine have transferred over

As I recall, you’re prompted to import the settings when the new version (2020, in your case) first starts.

Well you need to find the jaws command key strokes to read the status line and then you can arrow right and left to all the items in the status line.

This is a great idea. Window-Eyes allowed you to change the sounds that it used from the Sounds app via Control Panel. You're right: JAWS should have the same capability. I'll

OK, I misunderstood then. You should make a suggestion via the Vispero website to allow users to pick and choose their sound files for Jaws events like you can do in Windows.
I don’t use a headset
