Good morning everyone,
While we appreciate knowing when a new issue of FSCast is available receiving those alerts at 2:30 in the morning and having it mess up JAWS isn't something we wish to put up

How much RAM do you have? I've got 8 gigs and it doesn't seem to be enough, especially when I've got Jaws, Outlook and OneDrive open at the same time.

It really depends what type of document it is, .doc, .pdf or .txt etc,
and who you are protecting it from.
Making it a read only file is the simplest, and can be accomplished by

There is no really good method to do this. Most can be worked around if the document is still in DOCX format.
It's not perfect, but I find it far more effective to save as PDF and send that out.

If I hit F and 7 on the top row of keys, it says not in dictionary, and then it says the misspelled word and says no suggested

I am coming late to this thread but I have always used the F6 key to navigate around screen elements and these normally include the toolbar.
Is this not working for you?

try the following to maybe find what's needed:
press windows+i, and press enter after typing dark mode in the search field. there should be two choices after pressing tab: Turn on dark mode for apps

well, the speed of your connection to the Internet is certainly one factor, but you said that you noticed that the sluggishness started after upgrading to JAWS 2020. the problem might not be related

Did you install the programs to your p c. they need to be installed, just as if you bought the software and not 365.

I believe this is because with Windows there is now a dark mode that is being used even for folks with no vision issues. So in Office applications when using standard colors the app will report
