I had that problem too, I hated the way the accessible site gives you so little info and I had to clear my cookies to get back to a normal page too.
I later found a link at the bottom of the page

Press Alt + D to go to the address bar, then tab once and if Immersive Reader is available that simple key combination will put you right on the icon and enter or spacebar will activate it.

The reason alt+2 works is that the New Folder command is apparently on the tool bar by default, which fact I had forgotten.

Hello! There is an easier way to create a new folder wherever you are in Windows 10. simply press the key command shift + Ctrl + n, and type in the name for the folder, and you are done! Take care

Or you can type a PowerShell command to do the same thing. Iām reasonably sure that mkdir works in PowerShell.
