Assuming you are using English, they go in
c:\users\<user>\appdata\roaming\freedom
scientific\jaws\2020\settings\enu (I hope I got that correct).

My computer is only a couple of years old with 2 tb memory so i dont think memory is the issue. It is even slow opening word documents.

I have Jaws running find on 2 GB of RAM on one of my computers.

The best way I know is in the window that says listen now, tab over to the don't allow button and check it. Then press okay.
