The groups you belong to should show up under the groups menu. Now, here is the trick, the last group you posted too will be the first one you see so to speak. I E, if you posted last to a kitchen

graphics card biases set that to maximum power saving biases. also

go to sounds in the control panel. go to the default sound card then see if you have the tab control called enhancements and turn off all enhancements.

I think if you delete or rename (as a backup) the default.jdf in the shared and personal folders if there is one, and then press insert+windows+f4, a fresh JDF will be created in the shared folder.

It's likely a soundcard/chip driver issue.
It's possible that a Windows update installed what it thought was a better driver.
